ugh, I am sure I haven't been the sweetest to my family lately. But Samantha is being awful - I just sent her to bed without dinner. I told her I would be calling Dr. Phil.

OMG, I could just scream or cry or both. She has gotten up twice - I almost wish she were still in a crib so she could be contained. That's sounds so awful.

I'm done doing the "car thing" for the weekend. DD and I just came back from the Acura dealer where we went to test drive the RDX. Let me tell you I left there Before I rant I will say that we've been to the Mazda, Honda and Lexus dealers and this has never occurred so perhaps that is what got me - I wasn't prepared for it.

into the main show room and I see a couple getting out of their car walking in front of us walk into the showroom and approach the same receptionist and I hear the guy say "We were just driving by and decided to stop and check out the new RDX" She immediately walked them over to a sales person.

Apparently Mother and DD is not the right demographics for a buy it today car sale. Shopping at the beginning of the month will probably get you more attention than shopping near month end deadlines. Buy at months end - shop early.

DH is also looking to replace our mini-van and was reading a site on how to be a car salesman - it had a lot of fun tips on the psyche of a car salesman. LOL. He doesn't usually come home laughing either - it's like doing battle. You have to get ready - take no prisoners.

I just must be the most awful parent in the world. I don't get it. Both my girls are favorites at school and for the most part all the teachers say how wonderful they listen, help out and are just pleasent to be around. Ummm, at home it is quite different. Samantha never wants to pick up her toys. It's a constant battle. Everything seems to be a battle. I just don't know how to handle it. I feel like I need to strip their toom bare of everything or lock the drawers and closet. She will put on mutiple outfits, throw them on the floor and now Haley is in on it too!!

Ok, I think I have whined enough.


oh and I named my trip report in my cruise dream last night....

Do they do a big princess meet and greet when you can get lots of princess pictures? Do they have one big session where we could get Allie's pictures with all of them? When? Disney Shopping has a princess costume for $15 and I am thinking about getting it for Allie for a picture session. Here is the costume - what do you think?

I am sure you are not a bad parent and if you are then you can join the Bad Parent Club with me. We can be charter members! At least Samantha is good at school we have problems with Nathan both at school and at home!

What is wrong with boys?

I went into the bathroom to get DD's bath ready and I find that someone peed all over the bathtub and bath toys. WHY? WHY? WHY? Of course then he lied about it so now he is in even more trouble. First he said Allie did it, then it was a bat....

So now I cleaned the tub and he is getting his bath first (just washed with no playing) and going straight to bed.

Becka - I had a little run in with Giona over this recently too. DH started having peeing contests with him - which may explain some of the problem.
But Giona asked me if he could pee in the waste basket in the bathroom - I looked at him dumbfounded and said no. Blah Blah - I thought that was settled until I saw him standing in front of the waste basket with his pants down several weeks later. I thought maybe he was tired, sleep walking etc.

Another few weeks go by and I was collecting garbage and there was soaking wet tissues in the waste basket and I realized immediately what it was. I was ballistic. Ok, I probably have issues with this but who does such a thing? It wouldn't bother me as much if I understood the fascination.

He loves peeing outside. I think it's a king of the hill thing. We had several discussions about appropriate places for this too. Good thing we live in the country.

I hope this was a one time experiment.

It seems over at the thread where they said Pirate Night had been moved to Tuesday was a temp thing ...The double dippers from the 14-21 which means they got off yesterday are reporting that Pirate Night is back to wednesday for them ...So Hopefully it was the crew reward in Coz ...and most ships do that in Coz cause there are a few Cantinas to service some of the crew members ..lol

That is the game that our son played that helped him to pass the MCAT for medical school. He learned all the body parts by playing strip poker!!

Just catching up, but I got a GREAT deal today . . .

Tuxedo, shirt, tie, and cumberbund (I may buy a vest) for $125 (tax included)!



I don't know why tuxes are always so cheap. Even a really good one is way cheaper than a regular suit. They make so many for wait staff etc. there are always a variety available in different price ranges - it makes it so easy to own one and change them as the styles change. Plus you can just spice it up with new cummerbund etc.

Back to the Bingo thread.....someone said that kids don't know when to be quiet in Bingo. Well I guess I don't know either...when do you need to be quiet in Bingo? I hope the quiet people are not on our cruise. If a group of us play I bet quiet is the last thing they will get.

I think everything about this DD cruise will go down in history as being far from quiet!!!

Well it is Halloween after all.....
