LOL! Today DD's class was in the hall & her assistant teacher said that they were waiting for their itinerary. I asked if they hadn't received my email. She said yes, but DD told them that they could go too so they needed to know when to be ready to leave.

I guess I will watch Lisa's catch up later.

Samantha now knows about echo's (cardio) the little "stickers" they attach to you, they got pictures of their hearts, the surgical masks, gloves, caps and booties. And I didn't know this but our hospital has M&M's with our logo on it to give out to kids??!!

That is too cool! Sounds like she had a great day!

Did you know you can be logged onto the DIS without showing up on a buddy list as online? Under User CP there is an option to do such a thing. That would be really, really sneaky!

Where do you find the time to figure this stuff out???

what am I 500 pages behind now. Its raining here. I need to go pick up DD now. I haven't had anytime to do anything "fun" this week. DD stayed home with me one day because her "stomache hurt" and she said my work was "boring" and I don't have any "fun" during the day. All I do is "talk on the phone, be the boss of people and fix their problems."

Third grade; but it is the alternate list. Hannah and some of her classmates are in the gifted program; so the teacher has an alternate list ready for them if they get all of the week's words correct on Monday's pretest. There were some other words on the list, but those were the ones that even I have to think about (and I'm a spelling geek!)

V - A dumpling is like boiled dough. I don't really care for it very much but my Mom used to like to make chicken and dumplings which is kind of like a chicken pot pie filling mixed in with this boiled doughy dumplings. I think it is a bit of a Southern thing.

I don't know about a purely southern thing but it sure is some kinda good eatin'. Cracker Barrel makes them fairly good but my DW makes them great.

When I lived at the beach my roommate had piercings everywhere. Her boyfriend had peircings everywhere. My dad said that I needed to keep a pair of pliers around in case of accidental entanglement!

We were on the bus one time (that roomie and I.) One of the tourists started to laugh and said it was like "Becky from Sunny Brook farm meets the Spawn of Satan." It wasn't a very nice thing for her to say...but we must have looked odd. I always remembered that strange offhand comment.
