I cannot tell you how many times my DS puts the kids clothes on backwards. :sad2: He has a real problem trying to put together an outfit for the kids that fits, matches and is the right season at the same time. They seem to be mutually exclusive of each other. I really shouldn't complain since at least he attempts! :)

Poor Nathan, being made to dress his little sister and being expected to do it well! :sad2:

We have always wanted to go to Chicago too. In fact we looked at going with the kids this past August but decided to save more money for the cruise. Maybe we need a DIS Cruise Reunion this spring in Chicago? :cool1:

That is a great idea Becka, count me in!!

The kids in the Frackville building where I teach are not allowed to play tag. We are a town school and their entire playground is ashphalt. There is a little playground area that is mulch. Due to the lack of grass if they ran around playing tag they could really get hurt. It is a shame but we really need to make sure they aren't hurt.

Really? The playground is on asphalt with all of that open land out there? What a shame, but you would definately want to watch what they play.

My Internet connection is trying to go out on me! :scared1:

I am actually up to noon today but if I lose my connection I will never be able to catch up!

Someone HELP ME!!!

Can't help you with that Becka. Mine has been a pain in the **** for awhile now too. :sad2:

I told DH that DS is good for my ego. Tonight at bedtime he said in his sweet little sleepy voice, "I love you princess mommy."

yesterday I was a cutie mommy...tonight a princess mommy!!!! Life is good!

Amy's Home! :teeth:

But she kept playing phone tag with Tana, and did not get to meet her.
(How can two DIS'ers be in that proximity and miss each other?)

BTW - I also now know how to pronounce Tana - Amy told me - it was on her voice mail answer . . . Maybe I can post that little secret on Ebay to the highest bidder . . . :scratchin

AMY! You traitor!!!

ok, I am officially caught up. That took awhile! I am in the hotel in Norfolk. My flight here was uneventful, a few minutes early even. Tomorrow I pick up my friend who is flying in from Louisiana, then we'll drive over to Nags Head for our girls beach house weekend. So excited!

All this sweet talk should have you worried...he is male after all and there must be something behind it! ;)

Kids do have a way of melting our hearts.

Nah....he's still playing the field. :rotfl: He has known this girl since they were 2 in PS together. :) There are still several girls on his list. He keeps trying to figure out what order to marry them in since he has accepted that he can't just have them all. :rotfl:

Just an update on my father-in-law (You may remember he had a stroke a couple of weeks ago).

He is improving...was moved to a regular hospital room a couple of days ago, then moved to a rehab hospital yesterday. :thumbsup2

They had him up and walking and doing other physical tests. He is talking...some say he does not aways make since, but he is not wearing his hearing aids. DW and I think he just is not hearing well, and is responding to what he thinks people are saying. :teeth:

We now feel pretty good about his prognosis. :sunny:

Thanks for all the prayers and cyberhugs from you guys. :grouphug:

Thanks for the update Mickey. Sounds like he is making progress. Tell DW we are thinking of her and to stay strong for her dad. :grouphug:

Nope, he has no time for it. He is nonstop from the minute the pharmacy opens until it closes. No cushy job for him like I have. :rotfl2: :lmao:

But I did see him log in earlier today... :scratchin

Here's my news article for the day ....

ORLANDO, Fla. - Somehow, a thief or thieves was able to swipe a 50-pound bronze statue of a nude woman from an art gallery downtown in broad daylight.

WOW!?

We can find the full report on internet addiction for you. We'll be reviewing it during our therapy meetings starting 12/9 (our meeting location is not available until that date).

Be sure to check your Navigators for the "Friends of Lisa G." meeting each day.
