Well, Sam is a really sweet, cute girl. She and DGS have been best friends for over a year. Last year he would really have liked her to be his GF, but did not want to "ruin the great friendship if she did not want BF-GF relationship" so he just remained her best friend. We started calling her is not a girlfriend because when we would say Korey's GF, he would reply she's not my GF. The term just stuck with us. She now has a boyfriend whom we like alot (so does Korey) but she is young (17) and Grandpa and I are still hopeful that after they do college and explore the world their friendship with may blossom into more. Can you tell we love her alot too?

Certain things soothe my soul and drinking in the fans, the players, the everything about the stadium just does it for me!

Boy know that feeling from the Memorial Coliseum in LA. So, yesterday just when we got to nephew's house to see new baby, my cell phone rang and it was DS saying "hey MOM! Guess where I am?" Memorial Coliseum at THE GAME!! WHat?? He lives in Phoenix, has a friend that had 4 tickets to THE GAME (for us the would be USC/ASU yesterday). The friend had friends that were supposed to go with him and drive him to THE GAME. They "flaked out" and he needed someone to provide transportation to LA, he would provide the tickets to THE GAME. He had 3 extra tickets so was perfect to DS, DDIL and DGS. Wow! Aaron's first in person USC game. What fun! DrHug and I were very jealous!

I am just so glad to be back. Our Internet went out AGAIN! It is getting really bad and I need my fix. Our library is not open on Sundays and I was thinking I might have to go into work if it does not come back soon. We are all so pathetic!

Back from making pesto from all the rest of the basil that I had. Had about 6 cups of packed basil leaves... add all the cheese, pine nuts, garlic, oil ... and somehow it packs down to about 3 cups of pesto. But that is a lot of pesto!

YUM!! I have to get the salsa I made canned today. I have the jars in the dishwasher now.

well - we just got home from what I thought was our last football game. NOT! Apparently the next team's coach (moving up in age and weight) brings a few select "smurf" guys up at the end of the season to train with the team, learn their techniques and go to the playoff games with them. Both my boys were chosen. Very honored...very proud of them....but not looking forward to the continuation of what has been a difficult season with homework and juggling everyone's schedule. My boys were on

At least coal prices are very reasonable. Coal is mined in our county and all around us...that really helps with the prices.

I was ready to look into coal, solar, anything after last winter!
