For those of you who asked about DS Alex last night, this is a photo of him and his mom before his senior prom. It is over a year old, but the easiest picture I could find on this computer.

He basically looks the same, with about a year more maturity on him!

How about when I upgrade to a Cat 6 you can upgrade to my Cat 9. You won't be nearly as confused as someone outside the cult!

So when we upgrade at the port we need to explain that the room we are vacating needs to be either 1) left empty or 2) assigned to another Geek who wants to upgrade to that category!

Lisa, like I have said before, no one knows your child better than you do. You can sense things about your child that no one else can. Trust your instincts. Because of DD's extreme shyness, I have talked to a psychiatrist about child behavior. He reminded me that at this time in life, things are changing very rapidly. They have to learn something new every day, and sometimes every hour. They have to learn how to acclimate, adjust, and behave around others. They have to learn how to act with friends, and often take on the manurisms of others. That being said, trust yourself, trust your DH and trust your DS (he might have some really good thoughts).

BTW - Lisa - Don't blame yourself for the things your DD is doing. You are a loving mommy, if you weren't you would not be concerned about her as much as you are. All kids go though phases. You know her best and with your support and guidance I am sure things will work out...they always do. Good luck.

It is interesting that the plains states are very underrepresented. We need to up our recruitment in those areas! Can someone get a list of large libraries in the plains states with Internet access? We can send Charlotte on a recruitment tour!

I am just so glad to be back. Our Internet went out AGAIN! It is getting really bad and I need my fix. Our library is not open on Sundays and I was thinking I might have to go into work if it does not come back soon. We are all so pathetic!
