Brack, I noticed the pirate picture in your Siggie. Is that what you are going for?? :thumbsup2

Yes. Todd noticed a striking familiarity between Mr Gibbs (CJS's First Mate) and me. It seems that everyone agrees including my DW. So I am working on it. The muttonchops are the only stumbling block.

Nutella, yum...

There's a french Crepe restaurant (yup all crepes) in Gaithersburg, MD where they make the best dessert crepes with Nutella, bananas, strawberries and whipped cream & powdered sugar on top.

It's right around the corner from my gym. A group of us gets together for dinner every so often and we love to have a normal crepe for dinner (my fav is turkey& chesse with cranberry sauce {jelly kind})

I love Gaithersburg, MD. We lived there for several years when we started The Salvation Army's work there.

Attached is a picture that was given to me when we left there in 1990. Do you know where it is?

Oh MY Word. Is this something you have tried before?

Yeah banana splits are great...you know. Bananas on the side, ice cream all around and toppings...don't forget the whipped cream...add some cherries and woohoo....instant dessert!

Why is this so weird for some people.....?

Edit: Ooops. Posted as the wife...forgot to log her out..still, why so weird? :rolleyes1

You know....we really do have to work out the details for taking over the Flying Dutchman. ;)

OK, how many smiley addicts are there on the board now?!! Come on, you know the routine: "Hi, I'm Becka, and I'm a smiley addict." "Hi, Becka" and so on....

Where are you all getting these smilies and how do you post?

got home after a run to Publix.....having shrimp cocktail, steak, baked potato, corn~onion and pepper medley and for all you seafood and mushroom lovers a nice crabmeat stuffed portabello mushroom! I bought a nice Reisling and a Chardonnay....chilling and DH needs that horse at the moment!

going to one of the neighbors' tonight for one of those catalog parties... but in our neighborhood, it's just an excuse for a ladies' night out! Dads (or in my case, DD13) in charge at home while we have wine and snacks and pretend to care about the product presentation!

candy talk - I love peppermint patties!

Yes! Candy talk is so much more calming.

A candy thing that I learned from my dad .... chocolate covered cherries injected with rum flavoring (he used the real stuff) then hard frozen.

YUMMMM YUMMMM Where's the Rum?

Major withdrawal going on here guys! I'm checking "work" email from the conference so I thought hmmmm no one around....let's just send a note.

This is even better than DISing at work. Way to go! The only thing that could make this better is if it was for a milestone.

Yes that's the train station on Summit. There's a bar down the tracks from there and another one across the street that brews their own. (Former Summit Station Grill; they have new owners and recently reopened; not sure if same name now.)

The crepe place is in Kentlands. Near Great Seneca & Quince Orchard Road.
