DH asked if I was using the computer in my office. I wondered whether it was a trick question as I was sitting in our bedroom using the ibook. "Why?" I asked cautiously. He got this disturbed look on his face like why is this a production?! He wanted to watch Heroes. I offered to let him use the ibook and he said"Why would I want to watch something on an iBook when I can watch it on a 23" monitor.

Now I am thinking "quick how can I deter him" but what could I say "I don't want you using my computer because I think I am still logged in and my main page may be he cruise meet thread or heaven forbid I forgot to close something down and you see that I was chatting late never mind talking to those DIS strangers via conference call until 2A." Double Oy. So instead I said "No problem"

I drove the CRV again and also drove the Pilot for good measure. I am so glad I did. Three years ago I hated the CRV and loved the Pilot. This time I liked both (love the power in the Pilot) but felt the Pilot felt too big. I thought if I yelled toward the back I'd get an echo back. So I think I'm leaning toward the CRV. The question now is Nav or not.

Now you all got Amy to want the NAV - have to call the dealer on Monday

Now why didn't we know that it was your birthday today, Joy? It's on the site now. You guys do realize that I am going to have to retool a new site for next year's cruise. I usually just redo it....I don't think that I will be able to do that this time.

We got a Macaroni Grill here about a year ago. We have been for lunch twice and it was pretty good but not great. I keep thinking that I am just not ordering the right things.

Patsy! I've heard that one myself. LOL!! Too tired to talk to anyone else but I can get on that computer.

I didn't see the green light on my name earlier so I don't think it was signed on but was it on the screen - don't know. He does have his own sign on so he may have signed me off and himself on. I hear the show playing so I'm assuming all is fine. If I was still signed on he would have just shaken his head and called me weird.

Is that all?

My DH also had a root canal done over a year ago and it wasn't feeling "quite right" earlier this summer. He went to an endodontist for a re-do. They discovered the original dentist (very reliable guy, wonderful in fact -- did mine a few years earlier) left a smallish piece of metal way down inside his tooth area. They never mentioned it to him.

The re-do isn't helping, either. It's starting to hurt again.

So, do you think that's kosher to have left the metal in there without telling him? The only thing I can figure is it was some kind of dental implement that broke off and it was too hard to get out.

Such a charming subject to chat about, huh?!

If I remember correctly they make you sign a paper that this can happen. I always get super anxious when I'm signing that paper. I sure hope this hasn't happened to me.

The xray looks fine, the dentist says he sees no signs of infection or inflammation but since heat is causing the pain it means something is still alive in there, he said there may be a small amount of bacteria trapped or there could be a nerve that they didn't catch the first time.

Beyond the surface with all the joking and cruise planning everyone has really been there for each other. If it wasn't for this group I honestly would not have gotten thru the past year.

we got a new Dodge Grand Caravan. It came with Nav & I thought no way I will ever use it. Well I have gotten lost and found my way home with the Nav. The Nav has all the Disney resorts in it and how long it will take to get to them. The map is really kind of neat--the voice is annoying because it seems like she is yelling at me. our next car will have Nav also.

FINALLY!!!! A way to find the all star resorts! The first time we went to WDW it was so frustrating! None of the signs there help you & it isn't on a good map. OY BOY!!!

I can compete with your bad day. I left the boards earlier to go to DS soccer game. Well we left at 3:30 thinking we had a 4pm game. the game started at 2:30. My DH assists the coach who had to leave at 3:30. we caught the last 5 minutes of the game. two other fathers were coaching. the team lost 2 to 1 with no subs. I felt sooooo bad. I emailed the coach and apologized. Hopefully he won't hold it against DS

I like where the computer is because we can be together and because I can even be up when the kids are awake since they play in here. They can be playing or watching a movie and I can still DIS. Pathetic isn't it?

MTE! When the kids were that age I gated off the kitchen & they could go between the two rooms and play while I was able to check online.

my DH is starting to worry about me. he seems to think I may have an addiction to the boards. I can't understand that at all. I told him we left for the soccer game but I had the wrong time--I wasn't posting then. we went to dinner to make up for the fact that we missed the soccer game---I wasn't posting then. we painted the hallway--I wasn't posting then. I don't see where he is coming from. I took a lot of breaks from the boards today.

Well of course you are addicted to the boards. We are ALL addicted to the boards. Is there a problem with being addicted to the boards?
