No, not stupid, a lot of us are like that. I used to come up from our basement (where I have the treadmill) looking like I had just run through a rain storm - and I could wring the sweat out of my shirt. Amy would look at me with concern and horror.

I have a doctor who was trying to advise me on easy exercises to lose weight, he said that it is stuff he liked to do because he did not like to sweat. I looked at HIM like he was crazy. How do you know if you are doing anything unless you feel the pain? It is a great feeling for me when I push myself as hard as I can - at least until the next morning. You can just ask Amy about the stupid things I have done to myself when I have done things like this (like tackle football with guys half my age at Thanksgiving).

I've always been one to really hate to break a sweat but now I'm at a point where I don't feel like I've worked out unless I'm sweating like crazy! Kickboxing has become my favorite exercise. It really makes me break out in a sweat even before I'm halfway through the warmup. :yay:

ROAD TRIP!

My DW says that she thinks it would be a nice trip so we are going to travel up to Knoebels on Saturday. We should leave about 7AM and be there around 10AM (unless I see too many covered bridges and fall trees to photograph). Thanks for all the encouragement to do this.

What time is everyone going to meet and where?

Also, the DISDog is coming on the trip. His first amusement park.

Take some pictures and post them guys - or send them to Lisa for the website! Wish I could come and ride the coasters with you!

LOL - I'm sure that pads are helpful, but those butt bones were bruised for 2 weeks!! :lmao: Hold in the stomach muscles??? When I took that class, I couldn't even find my stomach muscles!!! We were in a 6 week training program, and each week we tried a different class. I never took it again! :rotfl:

My perfect DS teaches spinning 3 times a week at 5:30 a.m. She does not have a but.

I have already planned on it. :thumbsup2
the first time I left DS alone, I told him no one could come in and the doors had to stay locked. my DBF called me and told me that she asked my DS why he was sitting on the front porch with the dogs? DS proceed to yell to her that he was home alone and mom told him to keep the doors locked. he had locked himself out. DBF really got a kick out of it. her kids are much older than mine and they would never have thought to do anything other than stay inside

spinning class, :rotfl2: . I was thinking a good stroll on the treadmill, watching the ocean stream by.

I decided if I am not doing laundry on the ship, I cannot work out. I was not kidding when I say my clothes are soaked. I would have to either throw the clothes overboard - or if I packed them all in a suitcase to leave - do not believe I could find a porter to wheel them out. We would not need the coded luggage tags to find our bags, I would just follow my nose.

Well, he has already passed that test a couple times. The pizza hut is on the corner & I have left him here while running over to pick up our order with DD a few times. He knows no phone or doors and I look to see which of the neighbors is home in case of a fire. I trust him to listen.

Oh, No! We do the stroll first, then the chocolate won't count! "If" we do it after it counts, no fun.

And today the Cleveland ABC affiliate news came down to do a story on our school district.

I made it on the 6:00 news along with our Superintendent. Some people get 15 minutes of fame - I got one sentence! It was kind of cool to be on the news though.

Did Sophia think it was totally cool to see Dad on T.V.?

Now why did you go and say that I would hit 17000 tonight? I want to go to sleep!!!! I think that I will and catch up with you guys tomorrow afternoon when the kids are out of school. We are going in to finish up the fundraiser in the AM & are hoping to find a few more orders in the office. :) Goodnight!

Lisa you are stronger than I am. That close to a big milestone I could not ever go to bed first. Goodnight though.

Hi everyone! Is it too late to join this group?

We just booked this cruise after our plans changed for doing the August 2007 repo. We're a family of 4 -- two boys, ages 10 & 7.

We have some big life changes coming (DH is starting his own company), so this might be one of our last vacations for a while. Had to use that repo deposit somewhere....figured sooner was better than later! :thumbsup2

Anyway, looking forward to a fun double dip, seeing The Flying Dutchman and meeting some great DIS'ers!

Welcome Ds2mom - we figure they are probably now offering discounts on this cruise to get people to come after we chased lots of other people away! :rotfl2:

Pull up a keyboard, and join our crazy club! Our unofficial Queen and leader Lisa can get you all the info you need - you just have to tell us what kind of Geek you are, and since you are new, we are meeting at the swimming pool at the terminal before the cruise . . .

Oh Disney Direct - four more lime green shirts please!

you know Ohio does have one of the most complex and least efficient way of funding schools. Our school district has been a blue ribbon for many years. we have only had 1 levy fail in the past 30 years. my DH & I went to school in our district and we moved here because we know the district and really like it. we fight with the "non school" age homeowners every time a levy comes up. my DH parent's don't think it is necessary to keep funding the schools. I have problems funding parks instead of schools. we just opened a new middle school five years ago. My dd just attended the last two years. the school is awesome. I wish they would build a new up to date high school. the technology at the middle school is so much better than at the high schools.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time this weekend. We are going to try to get the hallway done this weekend. We have repainted the living room. We want to get the hallway, excercise/work out room, and our bedroom. The girls at the office are making fun of me because we are painting the rooms in disney colors. I explained to them that disney just makes me feel good. the colors are tynkerbell green, dandilions for roo, and some color of blue--I can't remember what it is called. We redid our bedroom in the scattered mickey pattern. DH says what ever makes you happy. Isn't he great? we sent a picture of DS in his pirate outfit and Angie found me out--we even have mickey carpet in the living room. OW--I guess I do take it a little bit far--but when you can find most of it on ebay and the rest in the disney closeout section--who cares.
Sounds Fantastic! Can you post some pics?

635 km (about 7 hours 52 mins)

Not happening, I have to cook a full Turkey dinner, this weekend. Besides I haven't done a TO Dis or TO Dis Pin meet in two years, lol.

Pj

Just throw it in the crockpot PJ - maybe they have an adapter to plug into your cigarette lighter. By the time you get there - DINNER!
