Yes, he was at a local bookstore signing.Jhalkias said:That is cool! Did you get to meet him?
BTW Angie, my boss was in Oregon last week doing a wine tour. He is a big wine snob.

Jhalkias said:Tide does the best job, but we do not use it in this house (I am the laundry expert). Tide makes all of us but Amy itch. We have not used it for over 15 years. If anyone else with allergies can tell me that this has changed - l would really like to know. When we washed clothes in tide, I felt like someone put itching powder down my shirt!
Amy is hooked on one thing that she makes me use now. That Downy "simple Pleasures" softener. The purple one. She loves the smell.

I have limits to how much I will spend on an item. You would probably gasp at my stockpile. I don't shop with a regular list. I scan the sales, gather/order my coupons and then hit the store getting 10-20 of an item if it is at the right price for me. The only things that I buy each week are milk, OJ, and bread (at the bread outlet for .47 a loaf. ) I can go a month or more without going to the store during the holidays/cruise and most of the summer except for those items because I have stockpiled it.

I can go to the no frills store and do that, but I get a good break on the prices there. Cannot for the life of me figure out why they think I would do the work myself and pay the higher prices.

The snobs have gotten to really like Oregon wines. There are over 100 wineries within a 10 mile radius of us. Many, many more if you go a bit further out. We have done wine tours a couple of times on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Plan on that again this year.Jhalkias said:BTW Angie, my boss was in Oregon last week doing a wine tour.
