I don't have any trouble with what I wear to church because I have my mind made up for me ..... we wear uniforms in The Salvation Army church services. For Easter I get a new black tie!

This morning only DS went to CCD. DD was still sore & achey along with me. I told him that he could go change into jeans & a button down shirt for CCD since we weren't going to Church. He went upstairs but wasn't dressed when I checked on him. When I took out clothes for him he said that he wanted to show respect so he didn't want to wear jeans. I guess that we have had an affect on him already.

I told my parents early, because of my health issues, but I did not tell my boss or any coworkers until I was 7 months pregnant. I was sick a lot so I only gained 9 pounds. I never even bought any new clothes..... I did however, gain 50 after being pregnant. Wierd, everything just tasted sooo good again!!

Oh my! I gained 50 with each of them. I dropped all but 4 pounds by my 4 week appointment though just living life...no exercise program. Who has time with a newborn?

My sister will add water to her milk if it's like that.... maybe give that a try Is it the cereal that people crave or the milk? I get those cravings quite often and always wonder if I really want the cereal, or if it's my body's way of saying I need milk. I know, i'm a little crazy, huh

I never crave milk but I do crave a lot of other dairy products like cheese or pudding, etc. When I crave cereal I usually eat it without milk. I think it's more flavorable that way.

OMG!!!! I so forgot the dream I had last night!! We were getting ready to get to the cruise when I realized I hadn't packed everything yet! Then I couldn't get into the house! (I guess we lived near the pier ) We ended up just going without ANYTHING. I was scanning the terminal for everyone and NOONE had on their shirts!! The funniest part was, we got there really early, heck before check-in even started, but I still didn't want to go back and get our stuff!

Last night I drempt I was eating in Palo and everytime I thought of something I wanted the server was instantly there and I said to him "Wow, you're awesome to be able to know I was ready to order something else." I guess I'm starting to get really excited about the cruise now.

That wasn't me. I was still sleeping at 7 am. DH must have checked in.

Our grocery stores have them too. Now they are having more store coupon sales too and I refuse to clip coupons! Well, I clip them then never bring them.

I don't care what I have to do to save money....coupons, store cards, rebates.

I don't know how true that really is...but even if it is a little true...I am sure it makes you feel great! I always tell my private flute students that I hope they play better than I do one day. They all laugh, but I am serious. My college professor said the same thing to me and I always remembered it, as a teacher that is true hope. I can't make someone talented or a good player, that is all their own work. I just guide them through the process...you know.

I think that is a completely natural feeling....to want your children to do better than you did, to be happier in their lives than you are...just the best possible life for them.

Oh my! Do I have to plan a coupon savings talk on the ship? I can teach you how to make the stores pay YOU to take the products out of their store.

ok well Brandi does not like my idea of taking my sewing with me to hotels. Believe me it is not my first choice for relaxation (and I will not be taking it on the cruise - LOL) but I do feel like I have crossed an item off the agenda when I do sew something that has the seam out after one wearing and I am mad about not getting it worn again.

I, on the other hand, am totally opposed to yard sales. Am I the only one? - Carla, you're often with me!!! It's just not worth the effort to make $60. with all the effort Brandi put in on the baking. We have so little free time - I just recycle or give away stuff we don't want. We have felt really good about putting LPO (large plastic objects) with a big FREE sign at the end of our driveway and knowing it is going to any home just not ours - LOL.

Actually, the last time we did this someone took the FREE sign that the kids had painted and hubby was mad about that. LOL.

Think about all that extra pricing time you would have if you weren't having yard sales.

Ok, my cruise dream, and it was the first one for this trip, was that several of us were detained in Kim's stateroom and it was after dark before they could let us out and they had sailed for the 10 day christmas already. I don't know what that means, but it was weird.

Same here. I have a card for every store in this town, as well as reward cards for places like Best Buy, Regal Cinemas, etc... It's a pain trying to search through my purse to find the right one, but I'll do it to save money or get freebies.

Ok, we have now had two refunds for over $1000, we are losing even more money by being open, agh!

Ok we don't have those cards, and coupons are a joke up here. But we do have three different grocery stores with in 10 mins of us, so we flyer shop each week.

DW would like a Volvo XC90 (not a vulva Kim), but I called to get pricing, and it is just about ridiculous. That vehicle costs more than our first house did.
