Early dismissal is a half-day (teachers have in-service the other half). So the middle school gets out at 11:45 (they start at 8). Elementary is out at 12:30 (start at 8:30). High school is earlier, but I don't know that one.

Yesterday I went through the McD's drive through to grab some lunch for DS. He saw the promo sign for the Little Mermaid toys and said, "That's Little Mermaid. She has RED hair." Then he just smiled. (So of course he had to get the little Mermaid toy instead of the Bionicle one.)

So, another warning to the redheads. Walt is taking notice.

I was and shared with DrHug that he needs to give some lessons and why (talked about the favorite quotes stuff) and he laughed and said he thought my favorite quote was "I don't care who pumps up the tires as long as I get to ride the bike!". That comes from many years ago when someone asked why I never seem to get jealous.

Nothing different yet. Of course, so far she's gotten her choice for dinner, had lots of cake, had only half a day of school, and gets to go to the megamall. Life is good.

has anyone heard about the manhunt in Lakeland? This guy shot and killed and officer and a police dog. It is right near my mom's house - and she has 5 acres of perfect hiding land!
They had the schools in lockdown yesterday KHS didn't get out until after 10pm. My sister went there.

Well all my family is in Lakeland so they are pretty worried right now. There are apparantly 1000 officers on the search this morning.

So yesterday I got my dress that I ordered on Ebay for semi-formal night Tried it on and it was too big, but by just a bit... woohoo... thinking I might get a size smaller. My DH couldn't stop talking about how good I looked in it - awwwww -- I have lost 15 lbs this last month so I hope I can drop at least another size by December.
