So yesterday I got my dress that I ordered on Ebay for semi-formal night Tried it on and it was too big, but by just a bit... woohoo... thinking I might get a size smaller. My DH couldn't stop talking about how good I looked in it - awwwww -- I have lost 15 lbs this last month so I hope I can drop at least another size by December.

That's great Joy! You have a sweet DH too! Are you on John's weight loss challenge?

So Angie, in your experience, which are more to handle as teenagers? Boys or girls?

2 daughters, one son, one grandson so far. Girls are definately more to handle than the boys IMHO.

DD is trying on a dress that she's wearing tomorrow for a bat mitzvah party. Wonder if she's trying to plan for accessories?

I'm not on the challenge -- DH and I are driving each other though. He's lost 25 lbs this month. It's low carb so it's not the healthiest way but I can do it for 3 months leading up to the cruise to drop a chunk of it, and then we'll a bit more modified traditional healthy eating after we get back from vacation.

Unfortunately, it also makes us salivate over looking forward to Palo chocolate souffle....

DD is in pre-alg. They are doing order of operation and adding and subtracting positive and negative integers. Her teacher writes out their problems something like this...

5+-9+6--5+-8--10.
Shouldn't it be;
5+(-9)+6-(-5)+(-8)-(-10)

I can't stand it without the parentheses!!

Just checking in for lunch everybody. I can't believe we are going to hit 30,000 today and I'm going to miss it! It's the last day of the mont and the boss wants the P&L (Income Statement). I actually have to WORK!

For sure! We found that some strange creature took over the bodies of our sweet little girls around age 14 and lived there until somewhere between 17 and 18. Then just as quickly as the creature arrived, it left and we were "hey, where have you been for the last 3 years?" Neither of the boys ever changed much thru those years (DGS is now 17) they just continued to grow, seemed to always enjoy being with us, never slammed a door...
