hMMMMMMM yeah..... :hyper2:

I really want to see DH on ABC.com...but since I have dial-up it just isn't possible. I still can't believe I missed that show.

i started to watch Lost last season but like PJ, i "lost" interest when they kept changing times/days of the week etc... with the show.

P.S. ARRGGGGGGG....

Yes!!! That bothers me! I will allow my daughter to get her ears pierced...when she is old enough to beg! My son will not be allowed to get his pierced. Call me what you want...maybe in some ways I am a bit old fashioned. I seriously do not care what other people do with their children in this regard, that is their family and personal business. I am just not a fan myself. Anyway....if I want to treat my goose and gander differently that is my right...but I don't want others (their school) to do that!!!! I hope I didn't open a can of worms with this remark...it is just my opinion. :stir:

I understand where you are coming from. I feel the same way. DS wants to be an alter boy but they have to be in 5th grade so he has a little while to go. The other day I wondered how I would react to DD wanting to do that. It goes against my comfort level for girls to be alter servers...as well as lay people. We didn't have that when I was growing up in the Church.

Carla, it is much easier now! ABC has most of their popular shows online. You can watch them on your computer whenever you want to. :thumbsup2
Absolutely! I also learned the NBC site although it talks about intel PCs and viewing I was able to view it, perhaps that's just the download portion - I don't know.

I've got to go to sleep now. I have not been resting and I've been working as I normally do so no wonder I am ready to crash by this time. I'm never going to get back to 100% if I don't get my act together. 'Night all!

Some dioceses still don't allow girls as altar servers. My sister is in Alexandria, VA, and they just recently decided to open to girls on a parish-decision basis.
DD13 has been an altar server since the beginning of 6th grade, and in our parish about two-thirds of the altar servers are girls. You know, you can count on the girls to volunteer!!! They're retired from service after 8th grade, so this is her last year. Oh, and when we got the schedule for Sept-Dec, we saw DD listed to serve on Castaway Cay day.. It will be tough to make it for that shift! (already made a trade with a friend to cover that!)
