We will be at WDW S-F before the cruise but we will have our laptop with us I am sure. We will see what the hook up fees are at the resort. We might be able to just hook in thru DrHug's phone. We do not plan on getting on the computer onboard though.

28 days until we leave for the World! I am slowly starting to get excited about it. I better get our costumes together!

That is not the kind of world I hope for for my children. I try to teach them to respect people even if they act or think differently than we do. I think the world would be such a better place if more people were tolerant of different ideas and beliefs. Sometimes I get naive and think we're moving in that direction and then I hear about this whole earring situation.

My cousin lived right outside of the city for a few years. When I would go and visit her we would take the subway thingie into the city if it was a week day. On a weekend day you could drive right in and park. It was amazing how few people would be there on the weekend.

I've rode it twice on a weekend. Parking is sometimes harder on a weekend depending on what's going on (parades, protests, festivals, etc....)

"Lost" lost me last year and I'm not going back.

We watched "Akeelah and the Bee". It was F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C.

I think the problem with Lost is that it's an interesting idea but they really drag it out sometimes, making it very easy to lose interest. I fear they'll try to squeeze out too many seasons to make extra money and they'll end up killing its potential.

Our church is very laid back with dress code. Some people are really strict others are more relaxed. I never wear jeans (neither do my kids or DH) but there are some that do. That is fine with me. I really don't think God is concerned with your attire...KWIM?

I go to a church (non denominational Christian church) that most people show up in shorts to. There are some people who dress up but for the most part it's jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc. The motto is "Come as you are".

Yes, I am really here at this ungoodly hour. DS has been up sick but it seems that he is finally sleeping. It looks like I will be staying home tomorrow.

Awww, I hope DS starts to feel better soon! My DS was sick to his stomach yesterday and I kept him home from school. He was much better after a long nap though.

It's my DD's birthday today!! Now she really is DD13.

I will let both of my kids get their ears pierced at some point in time if they really want to. I want my kids to be old enough to take care of them mostly by themselves so I probably would not go much younger than 8/9 or so. If they ask for pierced ears I think it is something that I will make them wait 4-6 months after they ask just to make sure it is not something they are asking for on a whim. After that if they still really want them then I think I will allow it. Although only one set of holes until they are teens. No other piercings or tatoos, etc. until they are 18.

I think I tend to be fairly liberal on this issue. I think of it kind of like a picking my battles kind of thing. In the grand scheme ear piercings just don't seem worth the battle to me.

I always felt the same way- no piercings until my kids decide on their own. DD always said she'd never have it done because she was terrified that it would hurt. Well a few years ago she finally decided she wanted to have pierced ears like her friends and begged to have it done so I let her. A year later she wanted a 2nd hole in her ears. I didn't argue, I let her have it done but told her it's the last piercing I will take her to get.

Hmmm. I think the Residence Inn at the port has free access in the rooms. And my PowerBook is ready to go (and I think I'm taking it along on the cruise). So I could potentially be online at the end...

Here we go again guys. Kristen and I are getting a limo saterday morning from wdw to the port. We will be leaving about 9 or 9:30 as I have a last breakfast with my neices before we leave them. Does anyone else want to ride with us. P.M. me We have 8 and can hold 14. We were talking again about if there were enough people we could get the hummer limo. Even the limo bus looks cool. P.M. I will only ask again about 100 times probly.

I was wondering the same thing. We have a very early flight on Friday AM..from Baltimore .... we have to leave the house at around 4 AM...so it sure as heck won't be us.

which flight are you on Karen? Right now we are on the 1 or 2:00 i think

I would have done 10 but then we would have to leave home by 7 and i know Fri will be a long day so don't really want to get up early, early.

Even though you can check-in on-line, DH likes to be there that 2hrs before your flight thing JIC.

We will be parking in the econopark express lot like the last two trips.

Well, we wouldn't be DIS geeks if we didn't have a few computers along... I usually take it on trips to upload photos (and sometimes burn CDs for other family members). Sometimes I even upload photos from other family members if they bring their cable for their camera. But for the cruise, DD13 will need to keep up with some schoolwork (8th grade) and that way she can keep up with her daily journal for English and write any other papers that need to be completed.
