Back to the dress code.
I haven't read for the last two pages so this may be covered.
John, is this guy just using the earring to bring in the new policies.
You should see the dress code at our middle school Wooh!
The funniest part is where they try to keep everything semetrical. That's right the kids are not allowed to dress aysemmetrically in any way. (It's a gang related issue.)

Dress codes IMHO are to prevent students from wearing profane, dangerous and/or too revealing clothes so as to prevent distraction. A boy wearing an earring is no more a distraction than a girl wearing an earring. It would be a non-issue with me unless the earring was flashing curse words or could be used as a weapon.
That is exactly what I was expecting to hear. Sad.
It saddens me in this day and age there are still people who are far too judgemental and close minded.
I must keep that in mind. Boy yesterday morning I had to grab hold of my tush to make sure it was still there because so many people had been chewing on it!!! Hope no more days that like this week. Need my rest!!
