I will probably regret saying this . . . but don't all of you go filling out the online application on our web site . . . I'm the one that has to read all of those.

Gosh - is this our assignment for the day?!! :goodvibes

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Monday!!

Did I mention that we made candy apples this weekend. Thankfully the kids didn't like them...I can't stand all that sticky sugary stuff on their teeth. They thought they would like them so we made some...and nope!

I think the thought with the grocery scanners was that it would eliminate that labor intensive step of labelling the shelves too, obviously that hasn't happened. I use the price comparisons and quantities a lot for my purchases which you wouldnt get on the scanner.

Our girls night out spot closes at 11pm so I often run to the grocery then without the kids. I don't like all the stuff in the aisles, sometimes empty bread shelves, unstocked meat cases. Otherwise, you can really race through the whole store quickly. Sometimes I go then to browse the cereal promotions for kewl stuff.

I often leave the non-perishable groceries in the mini-van until morning when I can get everything put away. The kids rooms are next to the kitchen (crazy layout) and it's too noisy late at night. We just have to make sure to keep the raccoons out and the van doors closed.

Yom Kippur - school holiday today.

We are thinking of driving to the Berkshires because it will be a beautiful day.

School fundraiser ends tomorrow. Why is there so much junk in those catalogs? Should I just write a check to the school or actually buy something?

Ok - I think I am caught up = my goodness in real life IDK how anyone will get a word in edgewise!!

I watched DH, the game and BS last night. What did Orson say to the dead body when he left the morgue? Was it in French - I didn't catch it. And - the maid's BABY?!! OMG!

coinstar keeps 8.9%. I let them count the pennies and nickels and the kids and I wrap the dimes. The quarters I use for laundry, pressed pennies and pinball. ;)

oh I meant to post that somewhere around 3:30 the boards come to almost a complete halt - it takes several minutes to post or get a new page. well maybe not quite that long but it seems forever.

someone mentioned late at night that it was slow.

22 women in a house on the beach with a hot tub... and a blender for frou frou drinks -- the weather won't matter much. As long as it's not raining I will be happy! Thanks for the tip on the art museum I will check it out!
That sounds like a wonderful time! I know you will have a blast!!! Enjoy your little break!

Our K-mat is good for that! :furious: It is soooo annoying!!
Our K-mart is really little. That is my least favorite store. I generally avoid it at all costs.

I agree about the junk in the fundraiser catalogs. My kids don't sell stuff yet..but I certainly get asked. In church yesterday one of the kids asked. I bought a 12 catalog subscription to Sports Ill. My DH likes it during Football season. That only cost 10 bucks. They had some really cute disney socks...but they were $9.00 for one pair!!!!!

I have about 10 loads of laundry.... I better get busy...time is awasting!
