DD just woke up. Thankfully her nose seemed to have cleared up some during her nap. Hopefully it will stay clear. DS all of a sudden got a burst of energy and started dumping out boxes of toys so now he is picking them up and can't do anything else until that is done.

DH liked a few of those pirate costumes but agreed with me that they were not quite appropriate for DCL but for some reason still thought I should consider getting one....

Is everyone really busy with football again today? I don't understand how you can let something as boring as football interfere with DISing. Where are your priorities people?

Here it was CCD, Church, then lunch & the kids having meltdowns from being tired & hungry. DD cried on the way into Church again saying that she didn't want to see Jesus because she was too hungry again. The cheese nips seemed to make her happy but it was a waste of an hour with both kids acting up.

What is it with kids thinking that just because you are talking to one of them you no longer have time for the other one? I would give DD a hug & DS would scoot down the pew & sulk. When DH had DD and I got DS to sit next to me and pay attention, DD would cry. OY BOY!!!!!

My camera just takes decent pictures with no flash in the theater. IDK how to do the settings for that. My problem last year was with the actors moving too quickly so some of the picture would be blurred but have bright colors. OY!

I haven't caught up from last night so someone may have answered this but just in case:

With the Digital Rebel (and most DSLR cameras) you can change the ISO settings. This is like putting faster speed film in the camera. The default setting is 100. The Rebel can go as high as 1600. The pictures have a bit more noise (grain for film) in them but for the most part the pictures turn out nice. It helps to hold the camera steady. In the theater brace your arm on the arm rest of the seat in front of you.

I really like the Precious Moments figurines but I only had one and refused to buy any more because if you have two it become a "collection" and then it gets hard to stop buying them. My one PM figure broke a few weeks ago when the shelf it was on collapsed so I have been thinking that I should get a new one with a little boy and a little girl to represent my DD and DS. DH does some checking and it turns out there are Disney PM figures! Be still my heart!!! Are these not the cutest things ever?

These can be bought at WDW in the Art of Disney store. One is at EPCOT and one is at Downtown Disney next to the Christmas shop.

I actually saw something at the local costume shop that was not too bad. Modest but still "fetching". I'll try to get a model number and a manufactuer on line for you in a day or two.

Alex's middle name is Clark which is my maiden name.
Actually, we were having a hard time with girl's names and the couple we choose to be Sophia's godparents came up with Sophia. It is an old Greek tradition that the Godparents get to pick the name for the baby so it actually worked out. Of course, the normal tradition is the parents don't find out the name until the bapitism, we didn't follow that part!!

There is no way I would follow that one either!

My DS is sitting here and reciting the commercial for that Floam stuff. I think he watches way too much TV!

Oh no! I will let DS tell him what we think of floam in this house. The kids have been told repeatedly that the stuff they show in TV isn't nice like that & just makes a huge mess & makes them frustrated so we wont buy it.

Yes - he has been told not to expect it at Christmas because it does not work like that except on TV.

LOL! That is what you get when you do a search for pirate. If you look for peasant shirt/top/blouse you will find some that are a little better. Gypsy brings some up too.
