We are leaving Detroit on December 8th and staying the night at the Residance (sp) Inn, the the cruise, then.....DISNEY WORLD My sister is a DVC member and is putting us in a one bedroom at SS from December 16 - 22nd I have December 6th - January 3rd off work and we will be gone 14 nights!!!!!!!

Hey Karen, i read a spot on the Hershey website where the give a special # to call to coord group spa treatments. They had a # for large groups and then had a # for groups under 10. (that'd be us.) I have a college friend that lives right down the road from Hershey who may be interested in going too. (She's a lighting designer who works from home so her schedule might allow her to get away on a weekday.) She's not a dis queen like us but is lots of fun. (She actually my DD's Godmother-in-law; ie married to dd's godfather)

I saw the use of facilities thing but wouldn't you have to use exercise room/pool prior to your treatment (cause if you did it afterwards it would offset that relaxation feeling.)

I was looking at either choc scrub and massage or one of the noche azul treatments. Their pedi/mani's seemed expensive. One of the salon places in Gaithersburg, Md does nails and pedi for $50 (their pedi chair is in a seperate room and there's tranquil music even).

Hey I'm all for a group spa day! The more the merrier!! I've never done a pedi or mani...again, I have my own lady that I go to every other week. I strictly use them for spa time. I've honestly never used their work out room but they do have aromatherapy and relaxation rooms and steam room in the locker room facility.

So are we talking November 10th or another day?

Jodie - I read this far...skipping over the word nephew...

I've been busy at work trying to catch up, only on page 1697, but though I would update everyone on the new nephew...His name is Aidan George and soooooo adorable. .

And thought you were talking about your DH2B.... I thought it was cute that you were calling him adorable. Then I reread the post and realized you were talking about an infant.....not that men can't be considered infants at times....okay I'll stop here b/c 1) now I've admitted that I had my blonde moment for the day and 2) I'm gonna get in trouble with John for saying men can be infants at time.

Guess this is what happens when we read too fast trying to catch up on all the posts.

I know that I mentioned this a while ago, but did anyone want to make a card that we can send to DCL's dining manager to thank her for all her help with moving WLEs so early & seating us together & getting us the rotations we wanted? I was thinking about something on card stock that all of us could sign over the course of the week and have a place matted in the center of the inside to hold a 4x6 group picture.

Jodie - Actually most of us have early dining. I don't remember the exact numbers but I thought we had 5-6 full stations in early dining and only 3 in late dining.

Becka - we weren't going to tell Jodie that we all had the same dinner rotation. We were just going to let her explain to her new in-laws that the people yelling pirate movie sayings were her long lost 2nd cousins!!

I almost forgot that I had two funny kid moments that I had to share.

Yesterday as you all know was "Talk Like A Pirate Day". I mentioned that to DS in the car while taking him to school and the next thing I heard was a little "Aaarrrrgg" from DD! I guess she has been paying attention!!!

The other was I was making dinner and DS came up to me and asked if he bought our house or if we built it. I told him we bought it when he was still in my tummy. He then paused for a second and asked "How did Daddy get it in the car?".

I can't believe that I forgot to tell you guys about what DD told me after school yesterday. OY! She walked up to me outside the school & pointed out a boy saying that is XX. I said OK. She then told me that he told her and another girl in their class that he was going to bring a knife in the next day and cut them. I stayed calm and asked if either of them told the teacher. Well, she kind of stumbled on that part saying that the other girl did and then yes. She looked like she was afraid that she would get into trouble for it. I had to go into the school to hang up a sign anyhow, so when I saw the principal in the hall I told the kids to sit down and wait for me. I told her exactly what DD said and she went to talk to their teacher. Apparently this happened at the end of school and her teacher called the principal on the radio after I talked to her. DD was afraid to go in today but said that he wasn't in school today because he had been mean. OMG!!!!!

I just sent the kids upstairs. I got tired of their bickering. Of course my once clean family room isn't looking so nice & clean now.

I don't have anything to do at the school until Friday at 5. The kids want to miss soccer to go to the movie night at the school. We got a license to show most movies and will have pizza, popcorn, and water. LOL!
