Ours is almost too close. :lmao: It might take me 5 minutes with lights....just like almost everything else in town that we go to.

I know that I mentioned this a while ago, but did anyone want to make a card that we can send to DCL's dining manager to thank her for all her help with moving WLEs so early & seating us together & getting us the rotations we wanted? I was thinking about something on card stock that all of us could sign over the course of the week and have a place matted in the center of the inside to hold a 4x6 group picture.

How does a double matted 6x11 card sound?

RECIPE

OK, the port roast is in the crock pot! Pork Carnitas for dinner. Really easy......green chillis, onion, garlic, taco seasoning, 1 lb roast, and a cup of water. High for 6 hours and then shread the roast. Mix the liquid mixture with the shreaded pork then spoon onto tortillas. Top with sour cream, lettuce (if you are brave enough....we aren't eatting any green leaves until they figure this outbreak thing out), tomatoes, lime juice. Voila! :)

and now I am out of laundry detergent. pirate: pirate:

Thank You!

I read this yesterday afternoon right before I left work to run to the store and I had forgotten that I was out of laundry detergent. I was able to add it to my list and avoid another trip to the store. :)

Congrats on the pirate:

Now that she's getting a little more mellow with age, i am thinking of getting her certified as a therapy dog. There is a new group that has started up in town. The have 6 places that their dogs visit so far but are looking at more once other dogs/trainers join their group. With their group your dog doesn't necessarily need their CGC (canine good citizen) certification, but must go through "Delta" therapy training (i think that's what it's called.) The couple who started the group have a 2 yr old male Berner named Charlie. He's about the same size as Abby (a little rounder because he's come into more of his adult weight) but a real sweetheart. I've met him a few times over the last year.

Hey Kristina ... probably different kind of therapy, but my kids school is doing Reading with Therapy dogs. It is supposed to help them become more comfortable reading out loud and it is supposed to help the dogs interact with people. All of us (kids and parents and teachers) are very excited about the program. It is new for our school. And besides - what better audience to read to than a loving dog who can't complain!!!

...funny story...apparently when our 2nd grade teacher was watching the READ Therapy program at another school and when one little girl was finished, she walked up to the teacher and said, "I think Max thought I was reading a bed time story...he fell asleep!"

:goodvibes

Since noone else is playing now I guess that I will tackle the bathrooms. UGH! :( There is also a pile of ironing that I should try to deal with. Lucky me! My two FAVORITE things to do in the whole wide world! WHOOPIE!!!

MICKEY PLAN

Scrapbookers, I hope no one has purchased supplies for this one yet. Due to low interested, I think it best to scrap this particular event.

I really love Dr. Hugs' (Dennis) idea for a digital memory book that we could do digital pages toward. It would be one less package to pack and many of us are already taking so much with us already.

I have always thought that Moms acutally all have mutiple personalities. Mommy, Wife, Employee, Cook, Housekeeper, and occasionally, they just get to be the 18 year old version of themselves.... (oops i forgot the all important Grandma)

Hi Karen!
My parents will be in your neck of the woods today! They're using it as a stopping point on the way to visiting my brother & his family in CT. They'll catch up with some old friends over dinner. Go stalk them at the Hampton Inn in Mechanicsburg and tell them you'll see them on the cruise.
And, six degrees of the DIS cult: Parents will be in Karen's hometown area on their way to visit my brother, who used to work with RealMickey.

Okay - I'll bring them lime green cupcakes with bananas on top. Will they understand?

PJ, we could start working on pages now, couldn't we? Playing with backgrounds & such? Maybe get together a list of ideas for page themes like Pirate night, each DIS excursion, Jodie's wedding, the terminal, etc. We could sign up for the themes. I know this has been discussed before but are there sites where you can design a basic page without getting alot of software?

PJ I'm bummed that didn't work out for you. I'm no scrapper but I was looking forward to seeing what y'all came up with.

I also get tired of seeing premade DCL cruise scrapbook pages on Ebay. Is it just me or is that cheating?
