OMG!!
Lisa---how can you see a brunch if you have one booked? I've tried looking daoly at Palo for tea and nothing comes up.
I came home today to our pool pebble tec'ed -- in the wrong color. It was supposed to be (pirates of the) Caribbean blue and it is GREY. PMG if we wnated that color we would have gone with reg marcite and had some nice mosaic decorations in it.....
also a bill on my door for the electric (moved underground) mind you DH dug the entire path for the burial, we paid the elec co for the pvc pipes (had to) and DH laid all the pipes and covered. We did get a new fuse box but the bill was $3650!! I was so nor expecting that!

Oh that is so wrong!!!! Hugs!!

Brandi - you guys look beautiful!!! And to think you were partying the night before...would never know!!

I have no dress for any night, no pirate attire, no transport plans yet to Cape Canaveral. I am consumed by work.

This has been a P.S.A on how not to plan for your cruise.

Don't worry - I think I have a dress...but i'm afraid to try it on and see if it fits. I have a plan for pirate attire....but I don't have it together yet. And i don't have transport plans back to the airport.

See...you're not so bad!!!

Mine is 9 years old. But it gets below 0 a lot here and we have huge snow fall, so he is worried about safety.
I'm sure he is. With actual winters to worry about he should be. I just tend to buy cars new or nearly new and run them till the mechanics laugh at me when I try to get them fixed. It's the only economical way to own a car.

I'm glad DD likes the PT because I've already told her it's her first car.

We don't have a Target. :sad2: Closest one is 45 minutes away.
Where do you get your stuff? Or, do you have a Target distribution center in town?

Caroline,
Preschool pickup... I live in total fear of being late! The director and assistant director have been there since DD8 was there, so they know me and would laugh at my paranoia.
And last year I was rushing to get things finished around the house before picking DD8 up after her art class. Knew I'd be cutting it close on the pickup time when I got a call... yep, I had the ending time wrong... and this was not the first week of class. So instead of thinking I might be 5 minutes late, I was really 20 minutes late!

Thank you all for the encouraging words. What made me feel the worst was that I didn't even notice the silence in the house. I was clueless at that point that I even had a little 3 yo who normally spends 24/7 with me!!

is the ride comfortable? they look so low to the ground?

Teenagers like PT's - that makes them cool

They look like gangster cars from the 30's that makes them cool.

It's also that they are so different than anything else on the road.

Sitting in the front seats are like nothing else. It's more like an easy chair. You sit upright, not reclined at all.

They are also a midlife crisis car for girls, not that I need that right now, ahem.

Mine is Blue.

We were looking at the new Saturn Skye. Wowza! DrHug and I thought we would look really spiffy in that little car. Nice lines! It would not hold any grandkids though. Just the two of us!
Now THAT is cool! :smokin:

I came back from disney shopping and catching up and found out I had been talking to myself. The only thing worse than pulling a John is pulling a John and not realizing it!

no it's Caroline that never sleeps. I don't know how she does it.

I went to bed by 11 last night. I think I am going to try to do this more often. :goodvibes I just always have the feeling that I am missing something....Plus I tend to wake up too early if I go to bed too early. :confused3

DrHug is home!! I have to go throw an onion in the microwave so it will smell like I've been cooking. Later. :stir: :wave2:

Oh Angie - another great trick.

But what happens when he goes looking for the food?

What happened to the trailer Angie?? This can't lug a trailer! Or are you lugging this with the trailer? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Very nice! :thumbsup2
Ohhh, I could see this two ways.

Angie and Dennis with an enormous Motorhome towing a Saturn Skye visiting grandkids and disboard friends.

or

the Skye towing a Teardrop Trailer.

The Teardrop is an Tiny Tiny trailer that sleeps Two  and has a hatch on the back for the kitchen. They come in several sizes, some small enough for a motercycle to tow.

Sorry Angie, no shower or potty on board.

We have a Kmart. As for getting stuff, I try not to. I may stop at Kmart only once every 2 months or so. And the mall (besides Christmas) 2-3 times in a year (this is 40 miles away). We have a new shopping center that opened this past spring: Micheal's, BBW I think, Famous Footwear, another supermarket, Lowe's, and some kind of boat store (you cn tell I go alot, and it's 5 minutes from me! :rotfl: ). The Walmart was supposed to open then too, but are delayed until whenever they make an access road or something. I just want a TARGET!!!! We have a quarter of a JCPenny, so so small it's basically useless. Then there is Peebles, a clothing store I will only go in if they are having their mega sale. Oh, yeah, a PetSmart just opened along with an Office Depot. Big deal! :rotfl:

One DD already left for school 2 more left. And I promise not to forget the littlest today!! Gotta run!
