I always cook mine on low for 8-10 hours. If it is on high about 4-5 hours. If you did not put it in until 11 I would say 7 would be about the earliest. If it was on high then I would get it out no later than 5'ish.

This makes me want a verandah even more. I actually checked but it would cost us about $1200 to get a Cat 6.....way too much for me. I did see another post about someone upgrading from a 9 to a 6 for $300 at the port. If we could get that rate then we would probably jump on it. Of course then all of our DIS stuff would be wrong. Whomever ended up in 2608 might get some interesting surprises!

good luck with the baking! I nearly burned a batch of cookies when we were going for post 20,000!
Of course I remember the connections; just wasn't sure if the school/church had moved/rebuilt over time. I don't recognize anything now!

Becka, if you upgrade at the port the $$ are considerably less and there would likely not be anyone in your old room. Just put a note on the door for all us Disers that you have moved. You could spread the word at sail away party also. You also could cruise by your old room each day just to be sure and gather anything left there. We upgraded at the port on the 10 day and did all of the above. That group had a handout with all the rooms on it. We changed the room numbers on our sheets for anyone who was upgraded.

Paul and I have decided to get married on Deck 7 on that thursday, which actually turns out to be his 30th birthday also . It was a hard decision between cc and on board the ship, but I didn't want to miss out on cc, plus, a girl wants to wear her dress longer than an hour.

We have a total of 15 joining us. I have to say, the hard part is over. I have been booking everyone using my costco discount, making all the deposits and final payments, the last one I made was yesterday and I feel soooo much better today now that it's all over

It's smooth sailing from here on out, well kinda, still have to purchase air fare, hoping that it will still go down in price.

I want one of the ones with the timer. I have a few dishes that really only need 5-6 hours in the crockpot. I leave the house around 7 and someone is not usually home until 5 and 10 hours is way too long. I can make them on weekends but the real genius of the crockpot is for those dinner meals after you have been at work all day.
