Heading out to eat Chinese food. Yeah to On Demand - we'll finish watching Zathura when we return.

I picked up that movie over the summer when it was on sale for $10. The kids enjoy it. :)

Back to crock pots for a minute.

Has anyone but me tried Slow Cooker Liners yet?

If not then GO GET SOME! They are probably on the top shelf wherever your grocery store keeps the cling wrap, wax paper, and foil wrapping.

Just line your Crock Pot, Put in the ingredients, Cook, Then pull the whole bag and mess out to throw away at the end.

I love  love  love  them.

I was going to try them but my crockpot doesn't get messy. It has just rinsed off then I wash it to get the germs & done. :) The worse one was the chocolate cake but IDK if I would want to use one for that. :confused3

I like my crockpot. :) The pot is dark green to match the kitchen and the outside is ivory with pictures of herbs on it. :)

Sure, that's one cent each. Send me a SASE and I'll get it in the mail.

I don't have your address. I could use that money for my new laptop savings fund.

LOL! I thought that you were going to say that each kid could watch their own movie. Mine would LOVE that! It would do away with the too scarey or too girly arguments. :rotfl:

Well my idea was that the kids could each watch a movie but that was not the way DH saw it.....

The only real reason to start at the University is if you are going for something BIG and want to be in a top notch one where credits are harder to transfer.

And I think you are right Angie, many are not ready to deal with everything else that goes with it. Maybe that was my problem....

Depending on what you're going to major in...cc ends up being a waste of money... For my major it was a 4 yr program (it's a 5 yr now though). It was a full 4 years of classes only available at the main campus. Most student aid programs will only pay for 4 yrs of higher ed. (they don't care if it's a p/t year or f/t year either) If i would have taken two yrs at a local cc. i would have added 2 yrs to my college life and those last 2 wouldn't have been eligible for Student aid (except maybe student loans those last two years.)

Your DGS will want to talk to his HS counselor or a college advisor in a program he wants to go into to see what the best track is for him. (of course some kids don't know what they want to major in so taking a few cc courses and paying OOP would be a good option.)

ok what a nailbiter between A/LSU....GATORS just kicked off and now they PICKED IT OFF!! Whoo hooo...!

I will be MIA for a while!

Welcome jodie (and to her DH2B too).

(You might not want to give this group too many of your wedding details. We might want to crash it. ;) )

Yep!

I looked at new ones, and it would be about $40 to get a new the same size. So what if it is pretty and matches the kitchen, until this one dies (fingers crossed) no new one here.

Pj

PJ, the new ones have a removable insert that goes right in the dishwasher... that was worth $40 to me!

Welcome!~ How exciting. I would love to get remarried on Castaway Cay.

doesn't it bite that they won't do vow renewal on CC. They say it's because demand for first time weddings is too great for CC.

I say first come, first served. If your willing to pay they should be willing to play.

Our has a big old crock pot, golden brown, that comes out of the metal portion to be washed up in the sink, it is easy to clean at least so far.

Paul and I have decided to get married on Deck 7 on that thursday, which actually turns out to be his 30th birthday also :rotfl: .

Again, so you want us to all show up to your dining room and sing to him?
