Today was a rough day

.

I was supposed to have the day off. (Primary election day) However, i am so swamped with work due this week that i went in.

Top that off with the fact the i'm really nervous because i have my first case to present to the Planning Commission tomorrow. (means i'll be on TV {local cable} and that camera they use is not flattering to ANYONE)

I also had a dentist appt to have a couple fillings done. I'm not even sure they did them correctly. The side they worked on hurts right now and i know my bite is off. The dentist didn't even smooth over the filling areas (i can feel how rough they are.

What's worse is that i will lose time from work to go get them fixed.

Wow.
There really is no bright side to the day for you.
Good luck tomorrow (shhh. no one watches the local cable access channel. especially with new shows and DWTS results)

Ok, today didn't go too badly. I cleaned up quite a bit in the am while DD was at her first day of pre-school. Picked her up and took her to get her dance shoes. Forgot she needed 3 since she is in tumbling this year!! $$

We then went to K-Mart for a few things and picked her up a Dora backpack. No Cinderella. Cleaned up a bit more before I had to dress her for dance and other DDs got home at 3:30. Took all of them back to the dance store to get DD 12's shoes and new leotards (notice the procrastination). They didn't have tap in her size and the ballet need to have the straps sewed on since she has graduated to women's sizes!!

Dropped DD12 at dance at 4, DD3 at dance at 4:30 (down the street at the school) and hung out with the other moms. Picked DD12 up at 5 and went to the restaurant for dinner. Left the girls there while I picked up DD3 up at 6.

Luckily I talked with the other moms!! I was thinking that back to school night for DD7 was at 6:30. In fact I was sure of it since I checked just before I left the house. They insisted it was at 7:30. Why would they have 2nd grade at 6:30 BEFORE 1st at 7:30??? Ummmmm....oops!! DD IS in 2nd grade!!

I picked up the girls at the restaraunt and got home a little before 7. They started homework and I gave them bathing instructions. I would have to leave DD12 in charge. Just as I was about to leave, DH shows up at the door!! Hi hon! Gotta go!

BTSN was fine except for sitting at DD's desk!! They were all a little too close together. Got home about 8:30. Got girls settled and in bed by 9. DH was sleeping on the couch. He had taken 2 sleeping pills, slept 11 hours on the plane and was still tired!! He did get up, chatted, and he decided to run down to the restaraunt for a bit. Now he will be awake all night!

Wow PJ! Good average. At least compared to me. When I bowled a little more frequently, back in HS, I probably averaged about 125-130. 164 would have been a high score for me.

I think I may have my Cozumel dilemma fixed to a point. At least I found an option. I believe Todd mentioned that we would be back by around 1 from the jeep tour. They have a Dolphin excursion at 1. We could leave the group earlier and do the later excursion. I wouldn't get to go with Kristina and Tana, but i could meet them there if they were staying that long. You can stay at the park until 5.

I will give it a few days before I start talking cruise with DH.
