I didn't at first - but now I think its Junie B. Jones - she's a 1st grader (I think) and she has a smart (is that the right word?) mouth - I didn't like the way she talks either - and the teacher was reading these books to the kids in class!!

DD's kindergarten teacher read them as well. JBJ starts out in Kindergarten. The teacher censored JBJ speak so do we. DD loves her - especially the one about the stupid smelly bus. I think that one in particular because they she gets to say that very bad word "stupid"

I already downloaded a game for the ipod, I ride the subway everyday and this will help the time fly. I picked Zuma, it is harder on the ipod, lol. I don't think I will be finishing all the levels on this game anytime soon.

I love seeing all your halloween photos! DH sometimes actually dresses up for halloween. He has a superman costume and a zorro costume. I have noticed many of the disney spouses dress up. What do you all dress up as? Lisa, do you and Mike dress up as Cinderella and Prince Charming? John does that mean that you dress up as the sultan? Amy that would make you....(don't feel bad Ariels mom is "not there" either....) Dr. Hug would be fozzie bear so Angie would be....

So I'm in the jury box today (and yes I was selected as a juror ) and during the jury selection phase the judge has his laptop where no one can see the screen and he is typing away and very intent on it. So I was thinking, "do you think he might be DISing???" If the schoolboard president can DIS at the new library would a judge dare DIS in the courtroom?

I am now all caught up. I'll check with the judge tomorrow about borrowing his latop. I have to run now and make a quick dinner for DGS birthday. DD is out getting him a little cake for the family tonight. He is having a pizza party with a large group on Sat., but it just didn't seem right not to have cake today. Back later.

It is Junie B Jones and her Big Fat Mouth. Well, after hearing how my kids both have the magic in their hearts when it comes to all things Disney, a friend told me not to get that one. In it the kids write about what they want to be when they grow up. One kid says that they want to be MM. JBJ tells them that they can't possible grow up to be MM and let's just say that the other kids set her straight about that one.

When DD 12 was in first grade she brought home a Christmas book in December. Now mind you that this school is only for 1st and 2nd grade. Well, in the story it told a nasty little secret or at least questioned it! DD then asked what it meant and I had to explain it away. I called the school the next morning and needless to say, it was removed PRONTO!!

Do you have a long subway ride?

I drive 25 minutes to the commuter lot, then hop on the subway for another 25 minutes, then a 5 minute walk to work.

Today was a rough day

.

I was supposed to have the day off. (Primary election day) However, i am so swamped with work due this week that i went in.

Top that off with the fact the i'm really nervous because i have my first case to present to the Planning Commission tomorrow. (means i'll be on TV {local cable} and that camera they use is not flattering to ANYONE)

I also had a dentist appt to have a couple fillings done. I'm not even sure they did them correctly. The side they worked on hurts right now and i know my bite is off. The dentist didn't even smooth over the filling areas (i can feel how rough they are.

What's worse is that i will lose time from work to go get them fixed.
