I already downloaded a game for the ipod, I ride the subway everyday and this will help the time fly. I picked Zuma, it is harder on the ipod, lol. I don't think I will be finishing all the levels on this game anytime soon.

Pj

Ps. Love, love love iTunes 7, the album flip view option is cool, now to find all the album art.

I used to play Zuma all the time (The PC version). That game drives me nuts.

Forgot to mention that the kids' passports arrived on Saturday!!! We did their applications on Aug. 19th, so that was quick! Even though we don't have to have them for the cruise, we decided to go ahead and get them. DH had to get his in a rush a few years ago and that was a pain.
funny thing, though; we sent mine in for renewal at the same time, and that one hasn't come back yet.

Off to bowling, lets see if you can bowl against a time who all did not all retired in the eighties.

Pj

Is it just me, or is anyone else unable to figure this out? Good luck bowling, or bowing, anyway!

You guys are in Florida so you'll be cold enough to wear winter clothes, but anything over 50 degrees and my dh will be wearing shorts -- not too Christmassy for photos ops!
My Dh will be the same!!! Coming from PA Florida will feel wonderful! We where there Christmas week the other year. I wore a tank top on New Years Eve!!! You just never know!

Are you going to MVMCP Thursday or another night? We chose Thursday, hoping it won't be too crowded. I read that it really empties out towards midnight! Friday night is out for us; I would like to get the kids to sleep at a reasonable hour so they are not cranky Saturday.

We are going on Thursday night as well. This will be our very first MVMCP. We are all excited about this! We are going on Thursday for the same reason as you! We want happy kiddos on Saturday!

Halloween Help!!!!

Ok here is the situation. DD is going to BBB before the cruise and she is getting the whole Ariel package with the dress and everything. We will also let her buy an additional dress to take on the cruise. Problem is: We told her she could be whoever she wanted, which of course is Ariel, but are not really thrilled about buying another Ariel dress in 2 months so we told her not to forget about BBB and now we have 5 choices. She wants to see them all before she chooses, and I have to order everything online because I live in the mountains. She is leaning towards Barbie Fairytopia or Belle, but here is my question, what are all of your kids going to be on halloween? Is there a cool thing I don't have a catalog for?

Kim
My DS will be buzz light year. He was buzz last year and is still insisting on being him again. I don't care...it is his halloween costume. If he wants to be buzz...then he can be buzz!!!

My DD will be either Cinderella or Tinkerbell. I got both. I saw cinderella at the disney store (remember she is in baby size) and I had to have it! I had already bought tink off of Disney Direct at after season close out...I paid like 6 bucks for it!

Well I don't think this will help you at all but I gave up trying to convince DS to be a pirate and he is going to be a red power ranger again this year. However last year he was SPD and this year he is Mystic Force and those are different.

I was going to get a Cinderella or Tinkerbell costume for DD but since I still have a 101 Dalmations puppy costume that DS wore when he was one that is the right size I should probably just use it. Saves money and she loves dogs so she will be thrilled. She does not really have an opinion on Halloween yet.
OK you freak me out again twin!!! Our sons are each being a halloween repeat. Our daughters are going to be either Cindy or Tink!!! It is too funny!!!!!!

Wyatt is going to be captain hook if I can get him a costume somewhere. I finally won my first ebay item yesterday. It was peter pan costume for spencer. Ya know the good and bad, or just mouthy I should say. :rotfl:
Congrats on your first Ebay win!!! You will catch the fever!!!! It is so much fun!

Halloween....we LOVE Halloween - not just because it's Samantha's bday but we love dressing up!!! DH and I have tons of costumes!!

Samantha definitely has an opinion on what she should be and she is wanting to be Jasmine. The only Jasmine costume I like is at WDW so I would have to call merchandise to order it. Other than that she has every princess costume under the sun. Unfortunatley lots of the cute cute costumes are not made with FL and October in mind. I used to frequent a baby board and after posting pics of her costumes they would say wow, won't she be cold?

Here are some past photos...this was 1st bday - woodland fairy

I realized I never got a good pic -- it is a tinkerbell, of course the wings are in the corner and Haley was "pixie dust"....her glitter sign is in the corner also! I was a pirate and DH was Jack!

Brandi is catching up after just a few hours away!!

Did I ever mention that the metronome is so annoying ??!!

Tana - I just realized that you must have joined us while I was at the beach. :beach: I didn't properly introduce myself...hello...I am crazy and my name is Brandi. I also was very rude in not welcoming you....so.... party: :jumping1: :welcome: :welcome: :rainbow:

Unlike my Dis twin (Becka) I do not know how to post lots of cool smilies. Well I guess I could figure it out but since I am on dial-up things like that are very time comsuming. You will just have to enjoy the generic Dis smilies.

Anyway...I am glad you have joined our fun group!

Halloween: We don't usually have the trendy outfit of the year but the kids have always made their choices (and they have to decide early since I make costumes-CRAFT WARNING FOR BECKA) Sometimes the big sister decides what the younger ones will be. Last year Hannah wanted to be Glinda the Good Witch so she decided that Walt should be the Tin Man.
IMG_2407.jpg

Other choices through the years have been Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Tinkerbell, devil, witch, princess, monkey, cow, bunny.
This year I'm making a Little Bo Peep for Hannah, and Captain Feathersword for Walt (you'll be seeing this on the cruise).
Pal Mickey: Sorry, can't help on that one.
JunieBJones: don't enjoy 'em, DD8 likes them. She's read the one and still loves the characters with no problems. Think about it: Don't we all get that magical feeling and talk to Mickey, Tigger, Belle, whoever? I still get excited when we spot a favorite and can't wait to meet them.
Marielle - I do not sew but my mother does. She has made us some awesome costumes over the years. Last year DS was Buzz, DH was Woody (made by my mom) and I was a pregnant Bo Peep...I really was pregnant...you can't even imagine the jokes from our friends!

We were all wizard of oz characters, a flapper and gangster, Cleopatra and Antony. I can't even remember the others.

My DH and I have a halloween party here every year for the last 6. Our first few were all adults with lots of adult activites and bev. Then we had an exchange student and he invited his friends and it was a teen party. Then we had our son and it is now a little kid party....our friends and their kids! It is funny how things change!

Do you have a long subway ride?

Brandi, did you have a Bo Peep staff/hook thing to hold? Haven't figured out how to create that.

A metronome is also annoying to the one using it...those darn things never stay with you... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

My students all HATE them!!!

I did. We used the hook from the nativity scene at our church. I just borrowed it from there.

Yeah! The metronome should know to speed up through the parts you can play really well, and then slow down while you're figuring out a tricky part!!! :lmao:

When I called they didn't have any rooms for Friday night, but our TA (Barb at Platinum) found us a room a few days later. She said there is a convention that is booking up Friday night. I don't know if that's just the Contemporary or what. So if you're thinking of moving, you might want to look into it now, and hang onto your Poly res until you know for sure!

We have never stayed at any of the WDW resorts, just picked Contemporary because it looks close to MK where we will be Thursday night and Friday.

You guys are in Florida so you'll be cold enough to wear winter clothes, but anything over 50 degrees and my dh will be wearing shorts -- not too Christmassy for photos ops!

They have had NO avail for a while but earlier in the week I was checking the WDW site (actually I check it nightly) and they have some MK tower rooms open up. I am waffleing - go figure - on the move.

We are going Thursday....mainly for the crowd and the lower ticket price! Also we went the night before the cruise last year and it was a bit hard getting up.
