Tomorrow is curriculum night. Since we have never really met DD's teacher this will be a good op. We are both so nervous during that time and although I typically can talk to anyone there is something intimidating about the whole setting. Also it's not DH's scene because he won't initiate a conversation. If he is approached or its someone he knows - no problem. Other than that - he'll be by me.

Teachers are just regular old humans too! They are just as nervous about meeting you as you are about meeting them. Trust me! Open house and conference day always are the most tense for teachers!

Yes, that is correct. You have to remember that Dennis and Angie are old, 39 years married. Still some pricing, but more posting and NEVER on deck 9.

I believe it - all of my teacher friends tell me that as well. We read "First Day Jitters" and DD got such a kick out of the twist.

Hey, he can do that. On our 26th anniversary he had 24 red roses with 2 yellow roses (26 roses for 26 years) sent to my office with a note "Two friends in a sea of love." I can tell you that husbands of my co-workers got educated!

Did I mention yesterday I ate a whole side of Ben & Jerry's? It was the pints that have two different favors on either side. Through the course of the afternoon I ate the chocolate fudge brownie side.

Angie they were talking about activities that other cruise threads had planned and one is a pj breakfast. Someone on this thread went right to having me for breakfast, I have to dissuade that idea.
