I have some mudslides here and I might drink one tonight but DH said the same thing about me getting too tired. He is afraid I might fall asleep if I have a drink and not get the reservations we want. :)

See - DH love us! I mean DH loves you!! He doesn't want you to miss out on all the fun tonight.

While looking at the Navs I did run across a question. It looked like DS would have to be in the club by 3:30 for the Celebrate the Journey show prep. DH, DD and I could get ready for dinner after the bingo jackpot and before the show but it might be tight. We would then not get a great seat for the show. It says the show does not end until 5:45 and then we still have to pick him up. How in the world does that work. Doesn't everyone with 5:30/5:45 seatings then miss the first part of dinner? How do we get up to the club, get DS dressed and get to dinner on time? If it was a normal casual dinner I would just dress him before the show but this is semi-formal night. :confused3 The timing on this really confuses me.

He doesn't want me to lose out on the Flouders hours because he has some pricing plans for the cruise! :lmao: He is worried about HIS fun! ;)

I am sure this has been discussed but what times are the galley tour? Do you reserve as soon as you get onboard or can you wait until later?

If it gets that bad, tell him one of us will watch the kids!!!

I didin't see any early Palo times listed. I tried several different combos and I did get offered different times but they all started after 6pm. For some reason I had the fantasy of having a late dinner at Palo something like eating at Calif. Grill - I was surprised that the dinners were all early-ish. I guess those poor people have to get to bed sometime. I don't think I could work those long hours.

I am going to try to watch the woman's US Open final. Sharapova vs. Henin-Hardenne. I like them both and would be happy if either of them won.

Vanessa - my passporter guide has some info about independent excursions on Cozumel etc. I could check there is you don't have one.

the water and reefs there are supposed to be so great that we opted for the catamaran sail - but you have little ones I know. I also am looking forward to those heavenly beach days at CC doing nothing.

Kim - I meant to tell you that when I went to college I could not eat in the cafeteria there either. I went to a big state school and the dinig rooms were huge. Watching those guys shovel in the disgusting looking food was enough to totally turn my stomach. I remember going to hang out with friends and not eating much because I just couldn't in that envrionment.

If your daughter is used to eating quiet meals alone with a small family group it may be overwhelming for her. Have you spoken to the school nurse.

No. I don't think there is a nurse. I met every staff person including all the maintenance people and I never saw a nurse.... Monday is Pizza day, and she loves Pizza!

Becka - could you tell us about the Celebrate the Dream show - is that something that is essential to do?

thanks.

I was so upset last night as I bid on a captain hook costume on ebay and then got someone else bid on it 2 sec after me and I couldn't get anoughter bid in before it close. I had like 58 sec when I put mine in. Oh well I never get anything off ebay. I also have in a bid for a peter pan but I'm sure I won't get it eather. I'll end up making my own. I would love to have the captain hook jacket off the ship. But I also want it for wdw before the cruise. My sister has an old red band jacket that I can turn into C.H. If I have to. I just keep thinking more stuff to pack and bring home thoe. I have a suit, suitcase full of DH stuff and my shirts for dinner already. Just too much stuff.

Sounds like a snipe!

Elaine - I don't know much about the CTJ show. My DS slept through the event last year but they did go ahead and give him the t-shirt and the Mickey ears when he went to the club later that evening.

We thought about booking the glass bottom boat at Cozumel but it is my understanding that the reefs there were destoryed and there really is not all that much left to see. It will take decades to come back. :sad2:

Kim,
Are there lunch room monitors who can chat with your daughter and encourage her to eat?

I was going through our cruise pics and I thought I might share a few if you guys don't mind. :)

Becka, They look so happy! I just love seeing adorable children that look so happy!

Maybe if it is an issue with her not wanting to eat in front of other poeple maybe they could make other arrangements for her to eat in her classroom or somewhere she is more comfortable. After a few weeks of that maybe they can gradually get her eating in the cafeteria.

As for the school nurse thing I know here in MO they are really low on school nurses so sometimes the smaller districts share a nurse so each school may have a nurse just one day a week. Then at other schools (like the one my MIL worked for) the secretary (my MIL) is also the "nurse".

You have done this many times before. This is still only our 2nd cruise and our first ever 7 day. :)

Becka,

I have been on lots of cruises, but never a Disney and I was a total wreck. No other cruise we have been on does ressies like this. I swear if Carla had not been there during the "glitch" problem, I probably would have burst into tears!
