Funny story about DS. We were listening to the Fantamic CD in the car on the way home (aka The Monster Show as DS calls it). You know the beginning monologue goes something like this:

Welcome to Fantasmic! Tonight, your friend and host Mickey Mouse .... Are the powers of Mickey's incredible imagination strong enough, and bright enough, to withstand the evil forces that invade Mickey's dreams? You are about to find out.....


However while DS was trying to repeat it (he does a good job) I heard this from the backseat:

Are the powers of Mickey's incredible imagination strong enough, and bright enough, to withstand the evil horses that invade Mickey's dreams? Mommy, are the evil horses the bad guys?

Spent several hours at the DMV this afternoon. Had to register my new car and I went ahead and renewed my driver's license because the last time I had to show ID at Best Buy the guy looked at the ID, then back at me, then the ID again, quite a few times like I was trying to pull one over on him or something... I guess after losing 90 pounds I look quite a bit different. So anyway, figured that even though my license isn't expiring until Dec. 2007 I may as well update the picture before we start traveling, I don't have people at the airport like Lisa does.

DH was sweet and took us out to dinner after the DMV. Now I'm full and sleepy. It's been a long day.

Vanessa I am watching Rockstar SuperNova. WOW! I am not a rocker.. Do they ever sing Barry Manilow or Donny Osmond songs??

I haven't watched the whole season...some of it seems boring and scripted to me but I haven't seem them do much outside of rock, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, The Beatles......I didn't get to see tonight's show. I read a spoiler that Storm got voted off though. I like the guy from Iceland....and what made me crush on Tommy was the fact that this guy missed seeing his little boy's first steps because he was here auditioning....Tommy - flew his family over here to visit with him. Of Tommy and Pamela --- Tommy is definitely the parent and disciplinarian. Although he's partied and still does...and he seems a little off, he's a really good guy underneath that persona.
