Random question:
Would you consider Buzz Lightyear a superhero?

The rule is no superhero clothes at DS3's preschool (encourages fights). And, hey, since my son hit someone today, I'm not going to break the rules!! So I'm doublechecking his clothing (he has a bunch of handmedowns from neighbors) and he was good except for one Spiderman shirt that he will not wear to school. But then I couldn't decide about his Buzz stuff. What do you think?

Wow! Never heard of a rule like that before! Sure would make it hard for some people I know to dress their boys. I would think that Buzz would be included, but I would definately ask.

I need to make the kids dinner now. They seem to be hungry early after school. They now eat lunch before 11:30.

DD eats at 10:45! She's gonna be one hungry woman when she gets home all year!

DDs had a great day at school, although Sarah has homework.
Amanda was thrilled to walk into class and see her best friend! How i kept that secret I will never know. I already filled out all of their paper work. I have to get them something to eat and I have a Little League meeting tonight. Oh crud! It's BB night!

I am so sorry to hear about your MIL's illness. I hope the arrangements for her care can be worked out easily. I would think the social worker who is assigned to her case from the hospital determines when it is time for hospice to be involved.

My father had one kidney for over 30 years and the last few years operated at 25% capacity of his remaining kidney. With medication and diet they can continue for quite a while - although my father did not have the additional complications that your MIL does. Dialysis is VERY tough on the body if they are discussing this. If I had known, I probably would not have let them start my mother on this during her cancer treatments. Her cancer dr. felt she needed it but the kidney dr. did not - so it is not always clear cut.

Hospice can really help you cut through the maze of arrangements. Wishing you all the best.

I was just talking with DH online (how I love to be able to talk for free!) The connection isn't to bad either. sometimes he sounds like he just inhailed helium from a balloon though.

He really wants me to fly to FL this year. He doesn't like me driving alone which is what i would HAVE to do on the way down as the girls have school Friday. I asked him if was driving back with me and that is a no go in his book. I've tried differetn "happy pills" when I have flown before, but none seem to work well enough. I think my adrenaline is so pumped that whatever I take runs right through! It is a lot faster and easier though....Gosh how I don't want to think about a plane ride! I will start having nightmares tonight I bet.

But he still wants to "talk" about the trip when he gets home. That may not be until the 21st if he can't get an earlier flight home.

We are going to try for Tuesday. I think it's a mix though of both nights. I want Aaron to be a little more comfortable going to the club. I think he will spend the day with us Sunday on CC. Monday is a sea day so I think we will get him to the club some that day and then hopefully he will be fine with going there for awhile Tues evening.

This is a bit of a concern for me doing Palo on sunday. I'm a little worried that DS and DD won't be used to the clubs yet but since they'll both be in the same club I'm hoping they'll adapt well together.

we did get booked into the Fury Catamaran sail on Cozumel. It might be fun to just lounge around the ship that morning and catch a spa discount.

Yep, no superhero T-shirts, shorts, PJs, sneakers. I'm not sure about Halloween clothes (haven't had to deal with a boy and these rules before; DD was only wearing princess clothes!)

And my bargain Disney shopping does have illegal clothing, but nothing for school (buzz & incredibles PJs, swim shorts, flipflops).

DS will be sticking with safe clothes. Of course, he did hit someone today, and he was wearing an orange polo and plaid shorts, so I'm not sure what that says.

why don't we try and coordinate some kids club schedules for the first 2 or 3 nites. I know I am planning on having my kids there in the evening while we eat - maybe we can introduce them to some other kids or meet up outside at a specific time. They are really looking forward to several of the evening activities that we have read about together.

We will be taking them to the early show - then a brief visit to the dining room (8pm)- then the kids club.

Lots of homework here. DD8 had to ask me to make a list of everything I read today. hmmm... I think "Disney cruise website" is a safe answer.

DD13 has to write her MATH autobiography (did you hear that, BECKA?) Questions include earliest math memory and favorite math activity ever!

I'm still not quite sure if I get this whole 45 thing....is this something I missed during the posting frenzy over the weekend?

I typed 45 instead of 75. DUH, ANGIE!! Just ignore that post....ignore Angie today it has been a super tough day at work. I had 13 people face to face with complaints between 9:30 and 12:30. That's alot for a whole day. I haven't even counted since then, but it is 3:20 and I am just now having a bowl of oatmeal for lunch! I have a headache!!
