Ah come on people, I have bowling tonight. If you do 11 more pages before I get home at 10 pm, how will I ever catch up tonight? :badpc:

Pj

Is that bowling or bowing tonight?
(have I run this joke into the ground yet? I'm sorry; it was such an odd funny moment!)

Have you already been told that Mulan has been on the Magic?

There are pics of her in the Till we meet again event in the atrium, so she is on the ship, but does she do meet and greets?

I killed the thread, I killed the thread, he he he he!

Pj

Ok, I am not crazy, honest. (hey, 10 minutes is a long time for this thread to be quiet.)

you guys go bananas without me!!!

Well 3pm....only a couple hours to go. John starts back up playing ball tonight. When is it that parents kind of put their hobbies on the back burner so their children can particpate in things? DD's dance class in on Thursday and ball is on T/TH so I already sense a problem here. Trouble is softball goes up until the over 60 leagues round these parts....DH could be playing forever!

Now if I had an actual weekly hobby (aside from the DIS) we would be in some serious trouble!

I am exhausted tonight. REALLY tired. I think I am going to veg on the couch with the girls. Maybe get Samantha to work in her K workbooks or watch a movie with me. John will be gone so maybe I can get them to bed early and wine and tub it!! :)

I have to go back to work, you have all made lunch go way too fast, thanks!

Ps. :rotfl2:

I see you ROLF...."Canada" is becoming a long standing joke with DH....he cannot for the life of him say let's eat at Le Cellier...it's always book Canada for me V, are we eating in Canada V, you didn't get reservations for Canada V?

Thank goodness we are dining there in October!!

And we had lunch in May - hadn't eaten lunch there - still haven't added it to my TR but the crab roll was kickin'! I mean I LOVED IT! Really really great!

I am dragging this afternoon....hopefully I can find the energy this evening to run before vegging...gotta get crackin' on this here geek challenge....weight just doesn't melt off me like it used to when I was 20. But then I love food alot more...back then all I could afford was Natural Lite and Ramen Noodles. ;)

Random question:
Would you consider Buzz Lightyear a superhero?

The rule is no superhero clothes at DS3's preschool (encourages fights). And, hey, since my son hit someone today, I'm not going to break the rules!! So I'm doublechecking his clothing (he has a bunch of handmedowns from neighbors) and he was good except for one Spiderman shirt that he will not wear to school. But then I couldn't decide about his Buzz stuff. What do you think?

I don't think anyone posted about DD's antics at the hotel Friday night. Just one more thing that I didn't need to deal with. After hearing about MIL's situation FIL & I took DD downstairs to meet up with DH & DS so we could go to dinner. I was trying to be polite and listen to FIL, who walks slowly...much slower than DD...so she ran ahead. I thought that the elevator was at the end of the hall to the right so when she turned I figured she would be there when we got there. She wasn't. FIL went downstairs from the 11th floor to check the lobby. I walked around waiting for her to come back up in another elevator. DH & DS came up and he went off looking for her when I told him what happened. I finally went downstairs and FIL was just standing there. He said he didn't see her. I was upset with him for just standing there and went across the lobby to the front desk. I excused myself and interrupted the man at the desk telling the girl that DD was missing. I described her head to toe. Everyone behind the desk started working on finding her. They had a security person with the ear piece set up talking to me in about 30 seconds and he relayed her description to his team. He came right back and told me that they might have her at the pool on the 2nd floor. He went to pick her up & DH came out of the elevator with DD in his arms. He found her running the halls on the 11th floor. Evidently there was another hall after the elevator and that is where she turned. It set up like a square where she could just go round and round. (IDK what happened with the little girl they found on her own at the pool but it wasn't DD.) After giving security her description, I was a total mess. The manager kept wanting trying to get me to sit down in her office but I couldn't move. I couldn't stop crying. It may have been a total of 5 minutes but sure seemed alot longer. When she saw me upset of course she started crying. The manager brought her a HUGE teddy bear with a tshirt with the hotel name on the front and that made her smile. She has slept with that bear ever since. Other people in the lobby when I walked thru realized what was wrong too. I heard one guy say "that lady has lost her kid" when I walked by and his group came over to get the description and started looking for her too.

Oh Lisa! You need a cruise right now. Can you go get a massage from Amy's lady? Can you order take out for tonight? I think you may need to start practicing self preservation here.... I am so sorry! Just hearing about it makes my chest tighten up and my heart beat faster....

She only had 1/2 day kindergarten last year so this is her first year with food. When she went to the University preschool she hated it, and it was only 2 hours, until we told them she did not have to participate in snack time. So this is not the first food issue she has had. Her dad is the same way and often goes until 6 or 7 p.m. without eating at all but he said he ate school lunch.

We talked to a psychatrist about this and he thinks hunger may win out, but I don't know with her.... I make her lunch on the days I know she will hate the food (like chili and burrito day) and she says she ate those sandwichs on 2 of the 7 days. All of the sides come home, but the sandwich has been gone.

Anyone got any bright idea's?

Why not just make her lunch every day? Neither one of my kids will eat the food at school but do eat the lunch I pack for them.

Is anyone else getting excited/nervous about Sunday?

Big party at 3AM EST!!!

No, Bella, Tink, Elaine and I will be sleeping. :rotfl2: Once again, can I say thank you Bella for sticking with me to the bitter end!

We will of course, try to stay up and offer moral support..... You guys are all repeats so you won't need the Lisa instruction sheet. Thank you Lisa!

maybe I could find some funny stories for that night......

I had read somewhere that Palo pricing was supposed to increase. Anyone remember? It is the same on the website so far.

That was a troll posting the nonsense. ;) The Flounder's price isn't increasing either.

Well, 47 pages down......108 to go.... I need to make the kids dinner now. They seem to be hungry early after school. They now eat lunch before 11:30.
