Isn't that amazing - first grade and kids tell each other they are fat and should not eat . . .
I was a fat kid, and in those days, they would call you fat, but somehow there was not that correlation with being fat and eating too much . . . nobody ever said you eat too much. I listened to an interesting show on "This American Life" about Americans living in Paris - the interesting thing is how Americans look at food like "medicine" and the French NEVER look at food that way. To them, food is a pleasure.
I think I am part French too . . .
Anyway, I took Sophia to the mall while DW was working today for school shoes, and they have this new photo place there called "Sadie's". All kinds of elaborate sets and costumes. You know I wasn't getting out of there cheap!
Anyway, I now have several cute photos of Sophia as a fairy - really cute, but not cheap. They take them all digital, but of course they do not give you a digital copy. Maybe I will scan some of them.
