Now that is just weird.

Caroline is right that it should be easy to get whatever CC rentals you want and not to worry about it at 3 am. I also made the same mistake and checked the one day rental then saw I needed to check the 2 day spot.

Too funny about the costumes...

here's a story for ya...

I was trying to engage DH to help pick when he wanted to do Palo.

We were discussing formal nights and semi formal nights and

he says to me, "you mean I can't wear shorts?"

I bought into it and said, "You've BEEN on a Disney cruise, what the heck are you talking about?"

He responds, "I know but every other time I did what I was told, this time I figured I'd do what I want"

MEN!!!!!

I will probably stay awake! :)

pirate: ??

wow - did you really carry all those costumes? hubby would kill me. I am already thinking how light can we go.

Of course!!! I can fold three up & put them in a small vacuum bag so they don't take up much room at all. I use a tote to carry the ones we will need each night & just change her in the bathroom off the atrium. We are good at this after 2 cruises of using this planning. ;) We end up with 3 big suitcases (DH's, mine, & one for the kids), 2 garment bags, a medium case with just shoes, the rolling cooler, a couple of duffle bags..maybe one or two more.

Do people end up being more casual than planned in the dining room because of these packed schedules?

Some do I guess but we just wear what we always do and stick it in the last bag to go out after the show. I put most of the bags out when we leave for dinner that night.

Can I ask a sand question? Is there a way to minimize it in the cabin? I assume you can shower off at CC? My kids always end up with it in the crevices of their bathing suits and then a big blob falls on the floor when I think I have it all covered.

Yes, they have the shower things at CC outside the bathrooms I believe.

Can I get a dirt devil on board? LOL.

This is vacation! Your stateroom host will keep up with the sand.

Yes. You see both on the screen the one day and the two day and they weren't beside each other that I recall. I initially chose the one dya and then went back and found the two day one.

I booked the 2 day castaway cay getaway and a stingray excursion. It was cheaper than doing the extreme getaway and a 1 day castaway cay.

Good luck all!

Isn't there also showers right next to the ship too?

Kim are you gonna stay awake with us for the excitement, or are you just gonna read about it in the AM?

That's the thing about the 2 day rental specials though. I think that I heard you can only book them online, not available on the ship??? They can be booked whenever though...doesn't have to be tonight.

I just wanted it to be done so I didn't have to think about it anymore....

I would need the host standing there the minute the sand fell - LOL. I only like sand on a beach. My mother grew up on a farm and she was the same way - no dirt and no animals either. LOL.

today at the princess party I saw Duct tape on the floor and started to laugh. My friends looked at me like I was on drugs, so I had to explain about my internet cruise friends and then they looked at me even crazier!

:rotfl: Thank you for saying what that was, Kim! I meant to ask but got caught up in the dining & pms. :)
