today I am setting up a "menu" for the week, grocery shopping. laundry and cleaning!! I have two big black bags full of junk toys for the curb already!

I would also actually like to get some stuff together for Ebay.....

John and Amy - How was the game? Did your fav team win? How about the band...did they look and sound good?

I should have mentioned . . . forgot about the band geeks last night . . . our band looked good, but the other team's band (from a much wealthier school district) was just unbelievable! Sophia and I left the press box for halftime to go out and watch the band with the "masses". A real treat!

BTW - battery in the PB is OK - can't find my spare right now to check it for some reason. It is MIA.

If you are, you do realize that when we were chatting last night, Amy and I were up past 1:00 am here in Eastern time . . . when we stay up to make those Reservations on the 10th it REALLY will be 3:00 am! I remember the last time, I was like a zombie, and made a couple of screw ups!

Don't remember where Bella is - - Bella are you EST?

Well, I need to go shower and go into the office for a couple of hours while dd is with Grandma and aunt . . .

You guys kept us up late last night! I told Amy I have the DIS hangover too!

this is why some moms stay at home - after daycare, gas, clothes, and lunches out they aren't making any money! at least I wasn't!

I can't stay home because I am the one who makes twice what DH does although I would love to stay home and just work part-time. If anyone stays home it will have to be him. He is a great Dad but we are not so sure he would be a great SAHD. Too much isolation for him. Besides I know myself and honestly if DH was the one staying home with the kids and I am the one who wants to I would be so resentful especially if I felt he was not enjoying it or doing it "right". In the end we figured it was probably best in the long run for our kids to have two parents who were still married than to have DH stay home. KWIM?

I think DH had a good time last night since he stayed up so late. At least now he better understands my DIS addiction. I hope he didn't drive you guys too crazy last night.

Hi! I am exhausted. It was 2:30 a.m. for me when I got done last night... I can't imagine how I would feel if it had been 4:30! Yikes!!

I just got off the phone with DCL. There is a gitch in thier system. If you book palo, the person who's name it is in cannot book an excursion on Cozumel. That is why DD and DH can go, but I can't. Also, she said there is probably another glitch with the Fury Cat too and when shore excursions calls me back on Monday, I should have them fix everything. If anyone has any questions I should ask them, let me know!

Lisa, do you think I should post any of that info on the main site?

I did make reservations for Palo on Sunday night, but I kind of like having dinner with my little girl, but I have them just in case. I am thinking the princesses are going to want to make cookies so I have it just in case.

I am going to get ready for the trout and berry days now. Have a great daY!

I did not do high tea. Was I supposed to? On thursday it is during the wine and cheese and monday we will have just been there.

You are going to club 33? How did you get in? WOW!!!!

I think I said this in chat last night, but just in case....Another DISer we met on the 10 day Christmas Criuse 2004 has an uncle with a membership. They came to DL and met us when we were there in June and mentioned they were taking their son to 33 and I was . He said "we would be happy to take you, just let us know when." We picked Sept 9 because that is the 39th anniversary of the date we met at DL. AAAAWWWW. He checked and the date worked for them also. We were able to invite a few people also, so our DS, DDIL, DrHug's DS and DBIL are going with us also.

Well DH got a raise of about $80/month on 9/1 so I thought just maybe we could be ahead just a tiny little bit although the price of everything is going up. Well I just got notice that daycare rates go up on 9/4 and they are going up for us $15/week. We will now pay $370/week for daycare. I just don't know how everyone does it. It is getting to be so outrageously expensive. My mortgage payment is $980/month. My daycare bill is now $1603.33/month! We are daycare-poor!

I really like this daycare but we may have to start looking somewhere else. Unfortunately all the other centers around here are the same or higher so we would be looking a home care which I have some issues with. I almost feel like I have to put my kids in a situation I am not as happy or comforable with just so I can afford it.

Maybe it would not matter anyway. My DS has turned into a holy terror and is constantly getting in verbal fights all the time with all of the kids in his preschool class. None of them will play with him anymore anyway. He refuses to listen and punishments seem to be having no effect on him lately. He simply does not care and I am getting to the point where I don't want to care either.

This cruise was really a major luxury and a splurge we probably should not be taking in the first place and now with all of this I just don't know. I still have not made our final payment yet and while it would kill me to cancel especially at this point I just don't know what to do.

He was very quiet most of the time - after watching us in chat last night, I am wondering if he will tell you to break all ties with these DIS nuts (coconuts?) NOW, or whether he will be up late with us whenever you go to bed!

Oh, and we will see if Amy will back me up on this . . .

We are in I think the exact opposite situation of you and Aaron . . . I think I would be fine as a SAHD, but I think Amy would go nuts as a SAHM. The problem of course is that the incomes are opposite too . . .

Don't get me wrong - Amy would LOVE to stay at home, I just think the kids would drive her nuts and she would go stir crazy! I can find plenty to keep me occupied.

I told Amy when we had Sophia that she could be a SAHM - BUT, the lifestyle would have to change considerably . . . and we would probably NOT now be posting about going on a cruise with you guys. The rest is history.

This is us as well.....I know during the first six weeks with both girls I was climbing the walls.....

Becka - I hope you are able to make something work. Visit the budget board I have found a ton of tips over there. I recently got my Verizon DSL down to $14.95 a month from $29.95...I was pretty proud of that! The only bad thing about the budget board is when people post about sales!!

Went to the grocery --- loaded up and now the girls are napping and I am going to clean the kitchen and get rid of some more toys.
