Kim, you are ahead of your time, wine in a box is coming (already big in Europe and Aussie), there are suppose to be the next big thing, lol.

I have seen them here, but they have a screw top lid and a plastic liner, so I don't think they are the cool kind in europe, but even with my pathetic wine knowledge (I hate that category in trivial pursuit) I am assuming that is bad. For the wine affecianados among us, this will be a byob event. or byow event. I think I can work with the concierge for everything else...

I am going to bed now, I have to get up early for pancake breakfast first day of school stuff.

Lisa - thanks so much for this link about the stingrays. I thought it looked pretty controlled until I read the post about the 2 people who got a too close encounter with the stingrays. Hubby had this same experience and had to fight the ray off of his dive hose that is why he is opposed to the kids doing it.

I'll have to get the final word before the weekend booking period.

I guess cruising is Barb's job. I'm not sure if she only books cruises or is a general TA for all travel.

I don't she does have kids - her hobby turned into a job and she cruises several times a year.

I am looking forward to meeting her - she and hubby sound like quite a duo.

We booked very expensive airfare to Orlando in Dec. on Southwest. Hoping that the fares will go down. I saw old posts that mentioned the fares drop after Labor Day? Is this normal in everyone's experience.


Of course for our Sept trip we are paying $49. each way. In Dec. it is way more.

hello all - just checking in to say that I am still reading old posts and not being very successful in keeping up with the new posts.

Thinking of booking the Romance at Sea package to get the early reservation privileges for Palo and spa treatments etc.

We booked the romance package also so we can book early since this is our first cruise. Plus I think the romantic turndown, breakfast in bed and gift basket will add a nice touch to our cruise.
