Are we the only ones who haven't sent our SASE into Kim? I have asked DD whether she will wear it. We have issues as SAB and the extra magic hours at WDW- she dislikes wearing the wrist bands and we initially had a problem on the cruise. She likes the fact that they will glow in the dark however I said I would not get one for her if she wasn't going to wear it. She did mention that she might like to wear it around her ankle.

I have not sent mine yet either. I must get that done.

I really don't want to miss the next milestone, but I am so so so tired. Eliza just will not sleep all night! She doesn't really wake up but cries in her sleep. She does fine with the teething during the day but at night..look out!

I looked at WM for those teething tablets...no luck. I want to ask my DMIL about them. She does all of the ordering for a small town pharmacy and she might be able to get them for me.

Don't laugh I really want one for myself so I can do that - only under the covers. I wonder whether you can read by the light of the band?

Yes it does. I an not a total computer illiterite...although tonight I seem to be. I just never really had an interest in an iPod. Although....hanging around with you guys has me wanting one!

If you love music, you will wonder how you ever got by without one. I bought my first one when they were in their second generation, and had not yet exploded in popularity. When you have kids, it seems like all your music takes a back seat to Raffi and Barney - well the iPod helped. I could listen to MY music while DD watched Raffi or Barney!

I use it when I exercise or walk the dog, and lately, I listen more to Podcasts (not the knitting one though) and audio books than I do to music. I have less and less time to read, and would rather listen to the book on the way to work. I have the earphone lanyard for my Nano, and have a carkit to listen in the car over the car stereo.

I NEVER listen to the radio anymore other than NPR, and I don't think I would ever buy satelite radio when I can listen to my own music and shows.

Brandi, you can go to the site PJ mentioned and download iTunes and get the experience on your PC without the ipod you can carry along with you. It is free - try it out! You can subscribe to most podcasts for free too. Some Podcasts are great, and there are several good Disney ones that are fun. The only drawback without the ipod is that you will have to listen on your computer.

No no no....it was great - I wanted to "try it on him" and he said - "not before the cruise V" well yes - I was making sure it fit, then he didn't want it off....

thank goodness he doesn't frequent here!

I can just see reluctant husbands and wives all over america trying on lime green bands!

And yes we will wear green lies because apparently we are all either very shy or complete hams...

DD always wears hers on her ankle, sometimes more than one...

I really don't want to miss the next milestone, but I am so so so tired.

oh, I wonder whether it is in the air. 1 am Saturday, 10:30P and then 2A Sunday. I am one tired puppy. The moaning dreaming talking is worse because it makes me keep waking up because I can hear her and don't know whether she is sleeping, awake, having issues etc. Growing pains are the worse. She gets them in her legs and you need to rub them out all night. Fortunately DH is the pro at this so he has to wake up for it. My nephew had them as well.

I have dial-up. I live in the sticks and even our cable connections are really bad. My neighbor has cable and he said it isn't much better than our dial-up. It is so bad in fact that they are going back to dial-up.

How would that work with downloading podcasts and such? I have gotten things off of itunes already but nothing with podcasts.

DD was so grumpy today. She was up bed hopping all night. She said that she went in with DS then came back to our bed a couple times. OY!
