oooh, that is my current dream dog! No dogs here despie always having them growing up - allergies! Growing up we had poodles and German shepherds. I heard labradoodles are great for allergies however our allergist says no dog is 100%. Ah well. DH never had dogs growing up so chances for getting one in here are slim to none anyway.

Your allergist is right, but that does not mean that some dogs are not BETTER than others . . . We all have allergies here but Amy - the kids got them from me. DS and DD have hay fever allergies and asthma, I have hay fever allergies. We are not really allergic to dogs, but as anyone with allergies will tell you, the less "stuff" floating around in the air, the better. So that is why we wanted a low shedding to non-shedding dog.

While some may tell you labradoodles do not shed, the first generation (which is what we have) can shed. Our Lexi does shed somewhat, but not very much. She is now about 10 months old, and since we got our underground fence hooked up, has been much better.

If you want to see where we got her Bella, here is a link to our breeder:

Here is a picture before we sent her to the groomer's for a summer haircut:

Bring BABW back into the conversation for a minute.

DD and I like to go to BABW whenever we travel and get a local T-shirt. It's about a $5 purchase and kind of fun to have BABW Vegas, Orlando, etc...
That's cute. We said no more BAB's (no one listens of course) DD did ask me if Pawsenclaws and Company (they are in NH and same concept) was also banned. The new rage here is webkinz and she already has two.

I guess everyone went to bed . . .

How is it so many stay up so late on a week night, and on the weekend, everyone is in bed early???

Good night everyone!

Maybe that's why my DW won't use her id here. She's afraid that she will get caught up .... or more likely she'll have to give up her Pogo games.

Brack tell her it is possible to pogo and DIS, even at the same time, I do it and I even keep up most days, lol.

Hi All!

DH is back and no one died! Good news! They saw a lot of whales, and caught a lot of salmon. Yummy!

Today was the last day of the fair :sad2: I will so miss the carmel apples....

DH said that security is not to bad now, it is really the check in and the customs area's that caused him problems this morning.

I read in my package that if you have a pre cruise package, you don't have to check in at the terminal, you can do it at the hotel. Is this only for land and sea?

Hi Kathy, another 6 year old girl? Sounds like they are going to rule the princess club. DD is 6.

Did anyone answer my other questions, I am going to go check right now.

Kim,

Shirley can do just about anything you want, and she is a pleasure to work with. give her a call, and ask her if she can do exactly what you want. I am sure she will be glad to accomodate. 1-800-950-4559

BTW - Sophia has an American Girl too . . . something else for the girls to talk about.

BTW y'all. I will be in the NYC store this week if you need anything.... I have been sent on that specific errand you know...

Well, guess I'm all by myself . . . and don't feel like talking to myself too much this morning - too many posts to the next milestone, and too much work to do.

We are having the current and recently retired Superintendents of our school district over for a cookout tomorrow, and guess who gets to get the place "ship shape" while Amy is at work . . .

When I went in to be last night after chat, Amy asked "what time is it?" - when I told her, she was  ! But she got a good night's rest now.

Congratulations on the Bingo PJ - I could NEVER play Bingo - or any other type of gambling for that matter - I HATE to lose!

John1

John, when I was little my dad brought out a roulette wheel and gave sister and I each 50 pennies. We bet until we lost everything. Then he taught us the central limit theorem. Now I can't gamble ever without thinking about it, so if I play I tell my self it is an entertainment fee....

OK here is another new total!!!!!

DISer Count . . . 143 74 Adults 69 Kids

New pictures were just loaded as well. :) I have moved the kid's pages aroung a little bit. There are so many...to make it easier for them I put the names by age. I can't believe there are so many 6 yo girls in the group...not a single boy. I guess that the princesses will rule the club. :lmao:

I forgot to tell everyone. DD tried on all the band sizes. She is 6 and weighs 46 pounds. She did not like the child size, said it hurt to put on. It fit her wrist perfectly, but was very difficult to get on. She likes the medium. The large is too big...

Hope this helps!

I FINALLY GOT MY PACKET! I have to say it was less than I expected, plus, and can anyone help me here, there are more excursions on the web site than in the packet. Thoughts?

Kim

I am bumping this one too....

Kim

What do you all think Lisa would do if I cut and pasted all my favorite quotes from the main site on to this one?
