Lisa, you are going to give DD a warped view of labour, and she is going be so mad at you someday, lol. Your not gonna get to hold your DGbaby for weeks, lol.

John, this guy cracks Mike up. You know him so that should help answer that...not many shows have this effect on him. :lmao:

I take back everything I said. If it makes Mike crack up (don't think I have seen that ever), then, I've got to see what this is all about! :happytv:

Now bed.

Yup, that's exactly what happened with Amy after Sophia . . . I think it happened permanently and why she wants daddy to get the snip.

Really Lisa, I think you could feed me lines all night long . . . :lmao:

With that, I think it is time for bed.

John1

WHATEVER!!

Hey, I wasn't exactly educated by my parents....I found out about the real birds & the bees at a friend's house one weekend when I read Forever by Judy Bloom. :lmao: I thought that I was going to die! Thank goodness I read it before we covered it in biology that year...yes I was a freshman in HS. I was NOT going to have a child. I was very clear about that. I turned green & got ill when anyone discussed childbirth or when I read What to Expect. I was 31 when DS was born. I think that there is enough time for DD to find out the rest of the story. If I tell her everything now I can guarantee what she will still be talking about with everyone we meet until way after the cruise. :rotfl:

OK...just got this in an email and HAVE to share it. :lmao: IDK if it is going to be bleeped or not.

Little Tony was staying with his grandmother for a few days. He'd been playing outside with the other kids for a while when he came into the house and asked her, "Grandma, what is that called when two people are sleeping in the same room and one is on top of the other?" She was a little taken aback, but decided to tell him the truth. "It's called sexual intercourse, darling." Little Tony just
said, "Oh, OK" and went back outside to talk and play with the
other kids. A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, "Grandma,
is not called sexual intercourse! It's called Bunk Beds and Jimmy's Mom wants to talk to you!!"

Yep, sop is a southern word...you got it...sop up the juices, gravy, etc
Even though I'm from the south, I do NOT like to sop - yuk!!

I've been wondering the EXACT same thing about when to go to palo...looking at the menus and trying to get the thing pegged as to the best time...you know, making sure we get all 3 on the first nights, and how all this dinner theme/menu stuff works! :confused3 LOL :teeth:
How old is Aaron?? My Kendell is 7 (I'm thinking they're close in age). If we decide to do Palo on the same night, we could hook the boys up.
OH - I just went and checked the manifest - the boys are the same age, and we're on the same deck and late seating as you guys!! Cool!! :thumbsup2
What are you planning to do - go to Palos earlier or near your regular dining time? Not wanting to butt in on your dinner (not even sure if we're going to do it or not), but you know what I mean? I think I'm rambling...

Diana

Yes, very, very cool. I think Joy's little guy is on late seating as well and he will be the same age. By second night they should be comfortable to hang together.

Nope! I was more realistic than that...in a way. There is a baby hole & it opens up when the baby needs to come out then closes back up. It doesn't hurt. Remember.....I had the two great epiderals and was giggling when pushing DS out so I'm not telling a lie about my own experience. ;)

Sophia has asked how the baby gets out of the mommy's tummy and I have told her that the mommy has to push the baby out. She has also seen "A baby Story" on TV. She doesn't watch the actual birthing but she follows enough to know it is not painless!!!

I know that after I had ALex I told John we were adopting the next one, because it hurt so much, the drugs did nothing for me!! of course like most men he didn't listen!

Oh, the timing....I was looking at the kids navigators from the May DD and it looks like there is an activity at the club that starts at 7:15, so I was thinking 7:30 or so for us to try to schedule dinner. We will be at DL the night we can schedule online. We should be back at the hotel before midnight, even though the park is open until midnight, so I can get on line right away and git-r-done. (I do have some southern roots also.)

I had to come over here and try to laugh because I freaked myself out posting my tornado story on the CB. I am sitting here shaking and knowing I should never have opened that silly thread.

Now I get over here and you are discussing childbirth again...something else I find traumatic but for very different reasons. At least with the tornado the initial terror was the worst of it....unfortunately with childbirth the subsequent years have been even more terrifing than the actual birth. ;)

Thanks for the info Kim . . .

Now, did the shoeless Lady look like a terrorist? Or was she like Donny Osmond's Grandma from Utah that had orthopedic gel shoes? I know rules are rules, but some of this stuff has gotten to the absurd. Can you imagine walking through the airplane and the next airport without shoes? Did she have socks? Yuck!

I can just see it now - because of the idiot that tried to light his shoe . . . "step away from me, or I'll click the heels together of my gel shoes, say there's no place like home, and this baby blows!"

What have our lives become?

John1

She was a nice looking woman about 48. Her shoes were really cute, but they said she could buy new shoes in the airport or go back and get her bag back. She went back to the front to get her suitcase back so she could wear shoes on the plane. No Donny grandma, just normal.

Just wait until they are teenagers! :sad2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Actually even better is I can have DH run to the store while I pick up the kids and he get can get all the fixins' for a nice big taco salad. Plus if he gets home first he can start cooking...
That is what I made last night. I use chicken...trying to follow WW and it is less points than beef!

On board gifts -
There are gifts in our booklet from DCL - can your order them on the ship, or must you order before the cruise?
thanks
diana
Last cruise I ordered my husband the black hat. When he tried to put it on, it was a kids size. We just took it to the gift shop and they let him exchange it for an adult size.

So, I've been looking at the new menus today! YUM! :stir: popcorn:: I'm having to sop up the drool occasionally. Sop. I think that's a Southern word, right Becka and Patsy? Something you do with biscuits and gravy. .
I am Pennsylvaina Dutch...we also say Sop!

Last night my DH put Eliza to bed. He claimed that she wasn't hungry...she only drank about an ounce of her six ounce bottle. This morning at 5:30....guess who had to have a bottle!!!! I was not ready to start my day....oh well! I guess I will have to be in charge of putting her to bed!

I don't know why this never occurred to me before (please no guesses why my fragile ego can't take it... ;) ) but DS went to a birthday party in May in Kansas City at a place called A.B. Bananas!!! It is kind of like a Chuck E. Cheese with bounce houses, etc..

http://www.abbananas.com/index.htm

They even have a Pirate Ship Slide and a BAB workshop!!!! How it that for a coincidence!!!!

If more of you lived closer I would have to suggest a pre-cruise meet at A.B. Bananas!!!!!

Good morning everyone...

Becka - funny you posted this...I was sitting at a corner waiting for a green light when I glanced over and saw this video store called "Coconuts"..gave me a chuckle...the kids wanted to know what was so funny.

Becka - maybe you guys have already discussed this, but I'm catching up this AM...

wouldn't it have been more appropriate for it to be Cocounts Bouncerama!

Oh - and I served Banana Daiquaris at our party on Saturday night. They were DELISH!!! Fresh bananas AND banana rum that we picked up at St. Marteen on our last dis cruise.
