even better is fluffernutter with banana slices on it.....

Figures . . . I knew someone had to work a  in there.

And PB and J was ALL I ate EVERY day for lunch for years when I was in school. Jif and Welch's grape jelly. DW said how boring! Later in life I even graduated from creamy to extra chunky pb. To this day, when I have one of those sandwiches, I feel like a little kid again! Oh, and a big tall glass of milk with Nestles Quik Chocolate! :thumbsup2

So is fluff only a substitute for jelly in pb&j sandwiches or do you replace jelly with fluff in other dishes as well?

Do you eat eggs, bacon and fluff on toast? :lmao:

Not me, methinks!

Darn 40 second rule!

Did any of you fine folks see the meteor shower this weekend? It really was amazing. We were up in the mountains. other than a few campfires it was pitch black and a beautiful, starry, clear sky!

And you guys put this stuff on a sandwich????? :confused3

OF COURSE!!! :goodvibes It is called a fluffanutter sandwich. Peanut butter on one slice of bread & marshmello creme on the other. Cut it in half & then thirds. It was a delicacy when I was little. :) We use it in hot chocolate now. I have never seen it used on ice cream.

Ooooooooh!

Left it for some other pirate: !

I had PB&J everyday for lunch for about 4 years. My poor Mom said she was going to get sick if she ever had to make another one. Every morning she would ask me what I would want for lunch and the answer was always the same - "peanut butter and jelly". Years later my Mom said she almost fell over when the response came back "ham and cheese"! :faint: I just stopped eating them one day and it was probably at least a year before I had another one. Now I eat maybe one a year but when I want one it is usually in the middle of the night and I HAVE to have one. DH is allergic to nuts but I keep a small jar of extra crunchy buried in the back of my pantry for emergencies! :lmao:

Did you ever hear of a CMP? I worked at an ice cream shop in High School. It is a sundae with Chocolate syrup, marshmallow cream thinned down with simple syrup, and peanuts! Honestly, it was our best selling sundae! They were delic!

Well, I have enjoyed toast with peanutbutter & fluff...it all melts. :) The same goes for chocolate frosting on the toast first. I got that idea from that peanut butter that was out a long time ago that mixed the chocolate with the peanut butter.

Well, after being a pirate: I'll leave the next big milestone to the other pirate:
Gotta get up early this week; DD has to be an altar server at early Mass.

OK but have any of you Yankees ever had chocolate gravy on your biscuits? :teeth:

My grandma used to make it for me whenever I came to visit. I don't know if I could eat it now but when I was 7-8 being able to eat anything chocolate for breakfast was a real treat! :)

Do they not have mini marshmallows on the East Coast? We use mini marshmallows in our hot chocolate here. How do you get that stuff in the hot chocolate? Do you scoop a big dollop in, or what?

John1

Kim - will you be up and posting with us from NYC this week? Where is your store located? Oh yeah - I am jealous about your Wicked tickets!!!! I would love to see that show! My DH tried to get me tickets for our trip there last year but they were all sold and I would not allow him to pay extra from ebay!

You just get a spoonful & stick it in the cup of hot chocolate. It stays on the bottom for a few seconds then pops up to the top. It melts so much more quickly than the little marshmellows. The kids use those...the fluff is MY treat. :)
