I am watching swordfish on TNT, creepy movie.... Did I tell you I lost a filling in NYC and my dentist is out until the 28th. It is starting to hurt, anyone know how long I can wait?

I believe there is some "temporary filling" stuff you can buy at the drugstore, just check out the dental care section. It's supposed to fill the tooth and I believe it stays in really well. A dentist told me about it once when my inlay had fallen out.

I did check out the Spanx website. That stuff is expensive but I am considering getting something. Those "Power Panties" look interesting.

Get the ASSETS version at Target-- half the price and same exact thing (made by the same company and everything).

Hey you ebayer sellers, we have a new store in town a la Catherine Keener's character "Trish" in the movie 'The 40 year old virgin" I've never seen a store where they sell the ebay stuff for you. I did not know they actually existed.

There is a company here where you drop off your stuff & they sell it. They also teach classes to sell on ebay. LOL!

Do they take a big %? How do you check whether they are rebutable? I have so many things but I would never have the time nor patience to sell them myself. I'd be petrified my rating would suffer and I am sure that I would be obsessive. I saw the sign and thought -- hmmm would this pay for my cruise massage?

In my case not at all but my issue is time of which I have none (she says as she posts and reads here incessantly ). Or rather I don't want to take on another project and one I'm not to keen on to begin with -

I would love that job! It is fairly routine layout work, but I did that as editor of both HS and College yearbooks.

I never said it was a "guy thing". And if you think spelling is an indicator of intelligence then explain why my DH could not spell his way out of a paper sack but managed to get his chemistry degree WITHOUT studying.

Still on steriods and puffed out like a marshmellow. And I am starving, and I am emotional and oddly enough this time at little paranoid. Anyone else ever have that with steriods?

I do get the "puffy" part - seem to gain several pounds every time I take prednisone. As to the other stuff, how can you tell when that is the normal state of mind??

So I came upstairs to follow the Pats on the internet. DH is bonding with my nephew. They are too cute together but I had to leave because the mother in me keeps wanting to say "You know he is going to be exhausted tomorrow." DD went to bed at 8:15 this evening - Hip Hip Horray! So at least it's only one who will be a crank tomorrow.

Of course DD is going to be annoyed that she missed the game as well and her cousin got to stay up to see it.

I know I am not easy to live with so sometimes I really am suprised that he is still there every morning. It is almost like someday I expect him to come to his senses and leave but I don't think he ever will. We have been through far too much already to give up now.

All this mushy talk must be boring for John....we really should get back to talking about important things like Spanx!

As to the "power panties" my experience is that they can be pretty powerful without the spanx.

We just put DD to bed. Next is DS.... when he goes to bed we are going to watch RV. I hope it is funny and not dumb joke funny.

I saw it on the plane. A little too much bathroom humor for me.... But some parts were funny.

Is there a Spanx for men? Have men ever worn anything like that?

Methinks Spanx would be another thing you ladies would like - like the "snip / snip".

I can tell you that the sound of it does just NOT sound comfortable . . . Men wear things like boxers - loose fitting stuff - not stuff that is tight and elastic!
