the creator of Spanx now sells them to Target for 1/2 the price, same exact thing as Spanx, made by the same people but called ASSETS there, so check out the pantyhose aisle at Target and save some money.

I have one pair of Spanx and one pair of Assets and they really are identical, not cheaply made or anything.

DH just called to let me know he is at the base an hour away today & it will be another hour before he can leave. Well, that is good today considering the fact that when I went upstairs with DD to play video games I fell asleep. OOPS! I told him that I have absolutely no idea about what to do for dinner. Being out in the sun today just wiped me out...along with getting up at 7:10 am!!! What I am going to do when school starts?!?!?!

I went to the Target webpage (Sorry, John, one more Spanx post!!) and there are several comments from customers about the waistband of the Assets unraveling after only one washing - both gentle cycle and by hand. Have you actually tried them and do you find they hold up (pardon the pun! ) ok?

I haven't had any problems with them....but I don't run them thru the washer on their own either. I put such things in a zippered meshed laundry bag.

I checked out "thetuxxman" on Ebay from a post on the main board. VERY nice prices & the cutest Mickey cummerbund & ties!!! I am getting my presentation ready for DH. DS already thinks that it is all so cool & likes that he can match DH.
