LOL! Sure...we can all relate. That's what Amy is doing today probably from her posting yesterday. I got rid of a big trashbag from DS's room a couple weeks ago. I swear he has kept every party trinket in the original party treat bag. I went thru those too. OY! I finally got the name of a carpenter to make a desk/shelf unit for DS's room. Now I have been wondering about coming up with a design for DD's room. If we aren't going anywhere for a year or more I want more room in her ROOM so that I can put some of her toys in there. Right now there is little to no room after her dresser, night stand, twin bed, and bookshelf. I am thinking about having a short loft bed built with drawers & a door underneath to take the place of the triple dresser. I am thinking about putting a ladder on one end of the side with some shelves on the other half of the end. If they could make the shelves on a door that would latch & unlatch, I could use that extra space for storage. And...as long as I am imagining this....how about making the headboard like dental molding to look like castle towers?? Too far fetched?

Well, we hit 12000 posts then went to sleep...got up...some went to work & some of us are cleaning & cooking. That should cover it.

I may get birthday stateroom package. DD is mortified at the idea of servers singing to her so she probably won't be interested in a cake at dinner. More than likely we will just overspend on souviners for her and call it a birthday expense.

I'm sure she will be happy to sing for your DS however. She's good like that.

I'll ask her when I see her tonight just to be sure.

Here's the 4 pm update. DH is on the way home!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!! Just letting DD dig herself deeper. Her ears are broken apparently and I am tired of telling her to stop kicking the ball in the house. I put it in the garage or on top of the fridge...but I know that you guys don't expect that she will let that stop her. OY!.

Well, the pork roast is cooking on the stove with onion gravy, the couscous is steaming to add to the cucumber, tomatoe, & salsa salad, and the cake is filling up the slow cooker. Best part? The dishes are caught up & the kitchen isn't too hot. DS is even up in his room cleaning up for daddy.

John and I cleaned DD room and the loft area (her toy space) yesterday. Lots of trash bags! She called in the middle of our chore and John told her what we were doing. She said "Your not throwing anything away are you"? John said, "Sophia, I wouldn't throw anything away". He is right, he doesn't, he carries it all down to the basement in the hope that someday he will have a garage sale. I think we still have Alex's toys down there too, we moved THEM when we built this house!! I, on the other hand know that we will never have a garage sale so I throw things away or give to Goodwill.
I keep saying I am going to get a big dumpster and clean the basement out!!
