I was looking at the 2006's and 2007's and the 2007 is only about $150. more than the 2006 and a few added standard features that are worth a lot more than $150. I'm kind of surprised there aren't any better deals for their 2006's right now.

. The only time DH left the room was with DD and I had gone from 1 to 5 cm in 20 minutes. They told me that they didn't know if I would have time to get an epideral and I started bawling.
They hadn't done anything yet. Suddenly I had someone putting in an IV & giving me nubane. The next nurse wanted me to sign the paperwork.
Yeah, right! I'm not able to see the words or the lines on the paper & she wants me to sign something. It was a consent form for the epideral. I told her that I couldn't do it but I knew that my DH could sign it for me. She said yes then I looked at him & said if you don't sign that form for the epideral you will pay for it for the rest of you life....or something to that effect.
Suddenly the doctor was there with the epideral & someone else was trying to draw blood. Keep in mind that I was floating on drugs & having to hold onto the nurse for dear life. I told the lab tech to stop & wait her turn. The doc had priority and then she could take all the blood she wanted because I wasn't going anywhere.
DH came back in after that. I don't blame him...looking back it was probably better than a comedy scene on a TV show and he knew that if he was out of sight until it settled down I wouldn't yell at him.
Just got off the phone with CRO and the CM confirmed this for me. According to her (& the instruction sheet that they had just been given that she was reading off of) if you have an existing package booked for check-in through December 31, 2006 and have made the initial $200 deposit, your ticket prices will not increase. In other words, your ticket prices are locked in & it is not necessary to make your final payment before tomorrow's increase.
She also confirmed that 2007 packages will be available for booking tomorrow. She wasn't sure about 2007 AAA rates, but thought those would be tomorrow, too, or shortly thereafter.
I also asked about how the tax increase that goes into effect Sept. 1 would be handled for those of us with packages that are paid in full before then. According to her sheet, if the package was not paid in full by August 1, 2006 & check-in is Sept. 1 or later, you will be responsible for the difference. It just wasn't clear how/when it would be handled (at check-in, a separate bill from CRO, etc.). I hope that makes sense to someone -- I'm not sure why the Aug. 1 date is important (was the rate increase approved that day?), I just know that since I don't check-in until Sept. 30, I will be paying a little more in tax (but not on tickets ).
