What's for dinner......is going on in our house!

Okay... ditto for this house too...

We just watched the cruise video for the umpteenth time... does not help to quench my hunger... since the cruise is still months away

We are trying to decide what to do for dinner.

Can you believe it, no Sophia, just the two of us, and we want to hurry up and get dinner so we can come home in time for "cult chat"

BTW - another button idea for one of you women - not sure who - maybe each of you should have one . . .

Not that John you would know... or would you , Can someone tell me whether SPANX are really worth it?? I heard Oprah talking about it a while back... but never looked into it?

Any thoughts or ideas on this one?

The girls are watching Alice and when I put it on Samantha SCREAMED look mom Disney --- TINKERBELL!! (in the opening credits...) it makes my heart smile to know she's not desensitized from going so much!

Taking a break while part of dinner is on the grill. Already picked the tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden (OK, Becka, no dancing cukes and tomatoes), and made the cucumber salad (yumm). Still have to slice a tomato or two. Too bad the rest of the family does not appreciate the fresh produce!

WOW, Another busy night and day for you guys!

To catch up and fill you all in on my birthing experiences.....

DS was rough. Labor started at noon on 6/14. I went the hospital recvd the epidural at 7:00pm, had terrible back labor that the epi did not help!!! Developed infection and fevor of 104 and finally gave birth at 5:46pm on 6/15. Needless to say I was tired!!

Becka I know how you felt about not be able to see your baby, I couldn't hold or see Alex until 4 days after he was born, I did get a quick look right after he was born. The reason for this was due to my fever, it had to go down and stay down for 24 hours before I was permitted to be near Alex . Alex was 8lbs 13 oz, imagine that in NICU, he was a giant with all those little babies!

Sophia was much easier went in around 9:00 at night and had her at 6:43 am. Again Back Labor but not nearly as bad.

I should have broken that up so i could have had more posts.

I think this got lost in the posts the other night - or else noone know what I'm talking about... I was searching the web for mickey clipart and found one that was 2006 – mickey’s ears where the 00’s and his ‘face’ was a big circle under it – I thought I saved it but didn't, and now I cannot find it – do you know what I’m talking about? It wasn’t a picture really, just the year ‘2006’ that looked like a line are mickey head.

Marielle - how do you make yours?

We usually do:
cukes
roma tomato
red onion
Wishbone Italian dressing.....

adding in green onion slices, black olive slices or feta cheese every now and then...

Sometimes that way (without the add-ins). This time I made the kind my Grandmother used to make:

Slice cukes paper-thin (and optional onion). Add salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar. Marinate for 30 min or so. Drain off as much liquid as possible. Add sour cream and toss together. Yum!

I'm here. Just dropped DDs at the library for a lock-in. Older one is one of the youth helpers, while younger one is a participant.
