Not only do they not live nearby...they are not allowed to see the kids. I would rather just wait. I am getting a sitter next week to go grocery shopping.
Wow...sorry to ask. I hope I didn't anger or upset you.

I will ask the next time i hit the Doc's or if this does not clear up by Saturday, I will head in for the walk in hours.

Nah....that is one thing I don't allow to upset me...history and it is much less stressful this way. :) You know how Dr. Phil talks about toxic relationships? Well, I got rid of the toxin. ;)

PJ,

They can do fairly simple quick tests to find out. If you are worried tonight, take a small dose of asprin, but call the Dr. in the morning. You can usually have an EKG and an Echo in the Dr. office. It's just not worth it to play around with.

Kim

Kim is right, your family doctor should be able to give you an EKG right there in his office. It's quick and painless.

Sometimes you need to do that.

I had bloodwork, chest xrays, an EKG, and a few other tests done right after I walked in. I was released in under 2 hours & had all of those results.

I don't want DD to go back to school, then we have to do the dreaded homework and we never get to play. Today we played a new version of the match game we got at the Denver Aquarium. She does not like to lose. Do you all let your kids win every time or do you try to win every once in a while so they learn to be good sports?

True...but I guarantee that my kids behave better when they are in school than when they are home with me. The three of us need to spend some time apart to improve the quality of the time we do spend together.

Maybe the Dr will tell you to take a long vacation by yourself with no distractions. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You definately have to win sometimes and make sure that who ever wins is congratulated. They need to learn to be happy for everyone. Now if this works is another story.....

It depends, once they know how to play not so much. When they are just learning...I do let them win to learn it. DS learned to play checkers recently & I let him see how to jump. Now that he plays with DH...who will not let anyone win ;)...he can hold his own. DH doesn't let the kids win on the Nintendo either...at least not DS. Sometimes DD will win a race or two...she is pretty good though so IDK if he lets her win or not.

I am really wanting to do the Ecotour on CC. No parasailing for me!!

I win sometimes. He must learn that he can't always be the winner. I would hate for him to start preschool and think that he always wins.

anyone doing the Stingrays will have a nice time. Just know that they do swim right up against you and some are quite big. Sarah was 11 when we did and took awhile to stop holding on to me. She never did feed them and she got right out and didn't snorkle with them afterwards.
