12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 3

I never should've cancelled......Now I have a quandry. Rebook the cruise for more money and no on board credit OR take 2 trips to WDW next year. I have a few friends who know of my self-proclaimed WDW expertise and are trying to recruit me to go on their trips with them. Not that I need that much arm twisting....So we'll see.

Jordan!!! Call DCL & see if they can reinstate it. I have read on the board that someone had that done. At least call them...it can't hurt.

Becca, Jordan also cruised with us 12/10/05 & was booked on this cruise after that one.

One thing I learned last night in chat is that not everyone realizes that some of us have cruised together before. My family, John's, Angie & DrHugs, Vanessa, and Darci (who hasn't posted in a long time) were on the 12/10/05 Eastern last year. I booked this one last July when John's family was here on vacation. They booked the next day or so. The others booked on the 12/10 cruise because we were having so much fun. I have to say that I THOUGHT that group was the best ever...but this one is just on a totally different level. Getting together with so many of you before the cruise is going to be so much fun. Jelly Rolls is going to be awsome too since I will have a chance to meet a TON of the other mods on the board that I have been working with. Being able to catch up with everyone at the end of the day in the dining room is also going to be amazing. It's great knowing that there will be up to 71 other people in the same dining room dressed up on Pirate night.

How can we get the logo for the DIS shirts? Are you emailing people with it?

Kevin, it is on the front page of the website BUT Todd has suggested that we add a lime green border to match the shirts to make the iron look better. I haven't heard back from PJ about that yet. I will give it a try on my end.

Since we will be having a group bedazzling prior to formal night I think we all have an assignment to decide what words we want bedazzled on our derrieres. There will probably not be time to decide on formal night so we must come prepared. It is our job as overplanners and DISsers to make this as efficient as possible. I want to hear some ideas!!!!

Hummmmm ..... what do I want written in jewels on my DW's backside? I wonder what her response is going to be?

My computer upstairs will not let me do that eithr. Also, I can not subscribe to a new thread on it. It must be some setting in my security but I don't have that problem on my laptop at work or this new one. All have the same (norton's) security.

It got me thinking that with so many of us going to WDW before the cruise we could do what some people have talked about...combine their photopass cards & get one CD then burn it & mail it to everyone on it. If 10 families did this it would only cost us $10 each plus postage.
