So what's everyone been up to today? The weather sure got nice around here. I wish I was home. I was supposed to be off, but most of my staff wanted off, so the newbie supervisor decided she should come in. Now I wish I was home.

I know that someone asked about wearing the buttons...I will wear it in the terminal & after we board but not in our family picture. I usually put pins on the belt loop of my shorts.

I am almost not looking forward to the start of the new fall TV season. How any I going to watch my shows and keep up here? I don't watch too many shows but it starts to add up: How I Met Your Mother, Survivor, Amazing Race, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and Apprentice plus there might be 1-2 new shows I will at least check out once or twice. What is a girl to do? I can barely keep up now!

Are you guys TV watchers also? Are you going to give up TV for the DIS this fall?

I don't have to since the TV is just a few feet away from the computer.

Did I tell you my family calls me PJ. Maybe we are twins.

I am 09/24/1974 at 1:10 pm. For that 15 mins there is no zodiac sign, so I am a 100% cusp baby. It was my mothers fault, she induced me because I was sitting on her leg nerves, one each day, and she couldn't walk. .

I should have been born on October 1st, DGM even bought me an opal birthstone set, opps. Can we all count backwards, New Year's was involved for me too.

DD is a mid December baby 12/15 and we usually give her a special party rather than gifts. It works out great for her because the pre Christmas tension is broken up a bit. Her parties are usually well attended. I think it's because the other parents see "Child Free Shopping Day" and jump right on it.

The only real conflict is when she gets something for a birthday gift that she would have gotten for Christmas. I have to send a quick Email to Santa to be sure it all gets straightend out.

Other than that birthdays are NBD at our house. Just a simple gift and whatever the BD person wants to do for dinner.

This year the cruise is her special party. All of you are invited (no gifts please) but she requests NO SINGING!

That's such a coincedence... My DS birthday is on 12/17 and we were planning on celebrating it on the 15th on the cruise.

Are you planning anything else aside from the birthday cake at dinner? It would be fun to get together to celebrate.

We spent the morning & early afternoon with our friends. Those little babies are just too cute!!! Their DD8 came over to play here for a bit...but I think that the end of peaceful playing is coming to a close soon.
