hello all...been a while since I checked in over here.

Becka - great pics of the kids and wow...love the new 'do!

Things are plugging along here...went to WDW last weekend, had a blast.
This weekend will just be pool and beach days and some cleaning thrown in for good measure.
Work has been busy and it seems the girls are pretty restless at night, not sure from what. I think the summer schedule at school bothers them a bit, it isn't as structured as the regular school year.
Other than that, hope all is well with everyone...!

How R U? How are the grapes doing? We bottled about 47 bottles of wine last night. We have about 47 more to go. It is just so-so this year, but Angie likes it. She is a Wino though, so it's understandable. She likes T-bird.

Now she'll kill me.

Happy Sunday everyone!

I spend yesterday reading the new HP book. Harry dies...or lives...or dies...or lives or something like that. You knew I could not spoil it for you guys, right? It is a very good book and I look forward to reading it a second time after DH is done because I read it really fast in my quest to find out how it all ends. I am sure I will pick up much more the second time around.

Pretty quiet weekend around here other than that. We went to church this morning, came back and I made taco for the kids, taco salads for the adults and now the kids are tearing apart the house. I need to get Allie down for a nap and I need to get on the treadmill. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Sunday.

Thanks for the the great visit at Disneyland. I don't think I have been on DIS since then. ? Hope Steve is doing well. You 3 are in our prayers.

Aaron is in California now. His Dadddy had to send him off on the plane alone. He was sad. Aaron has flown alone before, so did okay. They wanted him to start school in California so he wouldn't have to transfer later. Hopefully Jeff can join them soon. Things are getting too weird in Phoenix. Keep them in your too.

I love the new hair cut. It is cute. I know real men don't say stuff like that, but, it's true, so I will say it anyway. AND I AM a real man. I have done all of the real man stuff.

Here is my first post on my laptop!!! I forgot how long it takes to install everything needed to do my job and now I have to see if Mike has a cable to connect it to the desktop so that I can download my favorites and a few reports for bookkeeping onto this new toy.

Now I just need to find out how to get it set up so that I can take it with me when the kids are doing their practices for guitar, ballet, and soccer. I may as well be able to check in while I am in line for carpool for 30 minutes before the bell rings.

Speaking of which, we still do not know where they will be going to school this coming year. I called yesterday because the sheet said 7/1 and was told that they have a lot to do with the year-round schools because they start next week and they will get to the high schools then the ms then the es maybe in a few weeks. OY!!!! HEads are going to roll if they tell us no and we wont have much time to figure out what to do since I will be disenrolling them before the first day of school there.

Congrats on tthe new laptop. Cool. DGS now wants a laptop from AlienWare, or something like that. WHEW! over 2000 bucks. He has saved up over 700 bucks so far. What a great kid he is.

Anyway, sounds like you will be chained to the laptop. Now we will expect you to be on the DIS 24/7.

Oh, and because of the school situation you might as well change over to the WestBound.

Do you need to be connected to the internet whenever you are working, or can you be "off line" to work?

If you need to be constantly online, you may need a magic wireless card like Brack has to get you online wherever you are. If you can download your work and work offline, you may be good to go.

John, THAT's what I need to do. I have a Treo 700P that I tether to my laptop. It works the same as a Verizon card for Broadband access. I just need to take it to work with me. All I have to do is try to schedule 'slow' pharmacies. I don't have access to the web at most places I work because I am not an employee of their company. All I get is computer access for the Rx processing and billing. But most of the places I work are so busy I wouldn't have time to DIS anyway. I think I just need to retire. Yeah! That's the ticket.

So, Brack, where do I find one of those magic cards? The only thing that I have found in my search needs to to sign up for a cell phone plan and I am not interested in that. I just want to be able to access the internet.

I haven't read past this post yet, but Verizon has a card available. I don't think you have to sign up for their cell phone to get it. I am not sure.

Hello Geeks!!!!

I schleped 15 packages to the post office today. I will probably have that many tomorrow. I am sick of packing tape!!! although I am happy with the $$$ I have made!

I haven't read past this post yet, but Verizon has a card available. I don't think you have to sign up for their cell phone to get it. I am not sure.

Oh, also, Verizon dedicates one band to Internet and one band to Phone, so you are less likely to get kicked off of the web because of tower overload. Other companies mix the two between phone and internet, so one extra cell call could possibly boot you off.

That was a tip from my son Jeff, who used to work for Singular/ATT, but now works for Verizon.

A quick stop in to say hey!!!! Folding laundry - gag. I just had Isabella try on her jacket - well that is not going to make it for Sept. I love the Lands End jackets We were not a fan of last years change in colors though but at least hers still fit. So into the bag goes the black snowpants, the pink snow pants, the LL Bean jackets. I need to get to the overstocks or outlet store because I think this is a growth period. Wrists and ankles showing - I know when its ankles we used to call them highwaters or floods does the sleeve being too short have a name as well

We went to Knoebels Grove on Friday night with the kids. Wed. and Fri. from 6 - 10 is value night. The kids each got a $6.00 hand stamp and could ride all night!!! They had a blast. It wasn't full and the weather was beautiful.

yesterday was my cousins shower, which I helped to host. That was a long day!!!

Today was church, a trip to Wally World, and Giant. Tonight we are playing cards with our friends. I need to get moving...we have to go..soon!!!!
