Okay , I know you all know now that I am nuts , but I guess that actually proves it ...LOL So what do you think ??? Should I be commited ?

pirate:

Good job Captain :thumbsup2

On Monday I went to the Orioles home opening game. It was a good game but it was very cold!

That night at about 9 o'clock my DW and I got VERY sick! I was up every hour that night praying to the "porcelain god"! Most of yesterday is a blur and I feel better today but we did stay home again today. It was the worst I have felt in over 20 years.

Hmmmmmmmm . . .

Perhaps you want a charter membership in the D.I.S. Beer Boys? But you are on the WRONG cruise!

Remember, everything in moderation Brack!

Hey Andy . . .

Hey, remind Kristina to pm me your address. I have a Mickey Antenna topper for you.

I know sometimes you just don't feel the pain right away.

I was slicing mat board for a display and the exacto knife skipped over the straight edge and up my finger....

I think i saw the blood before it registered that i sliced my finger....

Hurt didn't come into play until much later....

Yeah, like the time I had my toe nail ripped off...by a door. popcorn::

During school, I was being a pest to one of my friends outside his room, banging on the door and then running, we wanted in to watch TV (he had one of the only TV's on the floor...:happytv: )...one time I banged on the door and planned to burst into the door when he opened it...but he knew I was there and when he opened it, I put my foot (yes, BARE foot) at the base of the partially-opened door...he had other plans; he rammed his body against the inside to push me away...needless to say the door went OVER my toe...OVER...and the nail ripped right off. I must have ran around the floor for about 20 minutes screaming while he stood there and laughed about it... Now thats pain...instant pain. That was real smart, eh? Pushing the door over someones foot...real smart. He ought to be ashamed for doing that...:rolleyes1

OUCH!! That made my knees weak!

I spent the day in Federal Court as a witness today. My first experience at that and hopefully my last. I have not P****d anybody off too much in the past 2 years so hopefully I will be retired and out of there before this ever happens again. Sept of 2003 I had this really angry, really unreasonable man in my office who would not stop shouting at me and I told him I'd have to leave if he did not sit down and let me help him. He got madder and stormed out, slammed a door OPEN so hard that the wall was damaged. :scared: Of course the VA police were called and they tried to talk with him, but he swung his cane at them (he had a broken leg) and they used pepper spray and then it took 4 officers to get him on the ground. He then went to the emergency room. His SO stayed with me when he blew out of there and I escorted her to the ER when we were told that he had been pepper sprayed and taken to the ER. Well, now he is suing us (took almost 4 years to get this to court) saying I should have done more to quiet him, I should have told the SO to go with him as the VA police were going to be involved :confused3 and the VA police are bad guys who were way to forceful with a "poor old man." HMMMM 57 year old who broke his leg riding an ATV and is then swinging a cane baseball bat style at the police is NOT a poor old man in my book. Sheesh, I was at the Federal Courthouse all day and finally went on the stand at 2:30. Their attorney really tried to make me look incompetent. So, I hope I did ok. I think I will call the VA attorneys tomorrow and see what they think. The girlfriend testified that she saw them take him down and my testimony was in direct conflict with that since she was with me and I did NOT see the interactions with the police. So, either she or I is lying. No jury, just the judge will decide the case. I really hope he looses this as we all were really just doing what we could to help him and he was totally out of control. It gave me a headache! :headache: I just came home afterwards. I did not feel like going back to the office for another hour and a half.

And to top it off, Dennis is at the coast working for three days. I could have been with him if not for this silliness. And he is not here to give me a hug when I need it. :guilty: :grouphug:

Aw, Angie.
Here's a late night virtual hug. :grouphug:
(well, it's late night for me, anyway)

Angie! Wow, why do some people always try to blame others for their own actions. Breathe, relax, and give Dr. Hug a hug, a snuggle and .... have a better night then your day.

 Angie...that does not sound like a good way to spend the way. I hope your day today is better.

Brack - I am sorry you and your DW were so sick. It sounds like the same kind of thing poor DH just went though. He was finally feeling better yesterday but he is still feeling really tired from it all. It took a lot out of him. Those stomach flu things are just really nasty. Thankfully none of the rest of us has gotten it and I hope it stays that way.

Last night DH and I went to see the Blue Man Group concert here in town while a friend watched the kids. We had a really good time. It was a good concert and it was nice just to spend some time together without the kids. Kind of a sneak peek for our kid free weekend next month. :)

I hope everyone has a great day!

Posting this here because I know a lot of us don't always have time to venture to other boards. Saw it on the budget board just now. Agent Cool Blue rinse has been recalled. You can get the form for a refund here.

Thank you all for the hugs! I'm better today, I know the guys attorney was just doing his job in trying to make all of us at the VA look incompetent. DrHug will not be home until tomorrow night. I hate that he does give the best hugs in the whole world, thus his nickname. ;) Ok, on to the next upset person now! :headache:

LOL! I guess that means that Sophia doesn't use it? ;) It is a mouth rinse for kids that is blue and it shows up on your teeth as blue where you didn't brush all the plaque off.

If anyone's looking ahead to next year's NFL season, one writer is picking the best and worst games to watch each week:

And here's one slam, just for John1 and me....

WEEK 10

Worst game: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers. Welcome to a cure for insomnia. Neither of these teams really know much about playing offense and the Steelers are going through a serious coaching change that figures to have some rough spots. In this game, 10 points might be enough to win.

Hey! I just realized that I had to update my signature! Hannah had her 9th birthday on Sunday (we did most of the celebration on Saturday, since it's hard to share your birthday with Easter!) So now it's DD9 in my sig line, just a few days late.
Oh well, I haven't sent in a birthday treat to school yet (no, not forgotten, just planned for tomorrow), so the birthday celebration isn't over yet!
