John1,
DrHug said to tell you he had lunch at a Greek restaurant in Portland yesterday and enjoyed it alot. He was working right in the heart of Portland the last 2 days at a county health clinic and our friend works only 5 blocks from there so they had lunch together both days. The friend has worked downtown for years and knows all the good restaurants in the area. He had a Greek salad, a spinich thing wrapped in phyllo (didn't recall the name of it) and a gyro. He said it was very tasty. They did not have any Uzo though since they both had to go back to work!
This restaurant has an upstairs section where you can pay a dollar and throw your plate.
Do you know what that tradition is about? Silly question, of course you know, can you explain it? He is back at that location next Thursday and they are going to a Mexican place that day. He enjoyed getting to visit and actually getting a lunch!
