Not yet but you are only about 10 posts away. In the old days 10 posts was very easy. Just started posting!![]()

Dennis this is the day we were in the coffee shop. I have a good picture of Angie but the picture I took of you is blurred because the camera focused on the branch of the Christmas tree beside you.![]()
Spanokopita . . .
Anyway, I looked for the answer to your question online Angie (I had an idea, but wanted to see what they said). Lots of different answers . . .
I think my gut idea was the most plausible. You party, you drink, you get raucous, you start breaking plates! A mythology has grown up around the custom, and according to sources online it is now banned in Greece because too many people were getting hurt.
The restaurant that used to do it here locally had fake "plates" that were unglazed cheap plaster plates they would use for this. I have to admit, the one time I did it, it was fun, and seemed like the "right" thing to do!
DS's first communion went very well this morning. He has been so happy all day.I will get the pictures downloaded tomorrow. It is my turn to be sick. My throat burns and I have been coughing a lot.
DH got me some dayquil & nightquil so I am about to take some & driff off to dream land. That stuff seems to get rid of some of the worse cold/throat problems.
Did you see I took a bit of a whipping from someone on our new thread about that. The first parent I have come across who feels that way.
Well, I better get busy and get ready for the annual Brunch with the Bunch. Gotta get ready for a bunch of hugs. That means a shower and some foo foo.And a shave, of course. The kids don't like it when I "whisker" them. And it is such a fun thing to do too.

Some Foo Foo? Angie, translation?
Loved the mother post Dr. Hug!
Happy Mother's day to all of you Mom's out there.
The following are answers given by school-age children to these
questions about moms :
Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dads such a
goofball.
Foo Foo = smelly stuff, after shave.![]()
Hate that stuff - you know I do not own ANY after shave OR cologne. Most of it makes me sneeze like crazy. The few times that Amy has bought me some, it would go "stale" before I even used 1/2 of it.
Just like the old days!![]()
Let's see if you can get the next big milestone before in the morning.![]()
I spent the day otuside - mowing, edging, weeding, powerwashed the deck, furniture and the house, and then played some frisbee with Alex while the dog chased.
After that, had to go and pick up Sophia halfway to Toledo (we had a nice cookout for the three of us before that) and just got home. I'm bushed!
Watching the GS/Utah game.
When I compare watching this series to the Cavs/Nets series, it's like I am not even watching the same sport. These two teams RUN so much! Exciting Basketball.
Hve to tell you Kim, Carlos Boozer is not a fav around here. He stabbed the Cavs in the back when they could have locked him in for much less money. He went back on his word to go to Utah for even more $$$. He gets BOOOED every time he comes here now.
DD did great this weekend but she woke up this morning with a "gunky" and really swollen eyes. It doesn't look like pink eye but I have never seen swollen eyes like that before. I am wondering if it is really bad allergies.![]()
